Blandino says no leverage call was the correct call

Post by jeemie » Fri Jan 09, 2026 2:42 am

Saw a blurb on Blandino being asked why Skowronek wasn't called for leverage.

He said the no call was correct...yes Skowronek jumped and put his hands on his teammates. But leverage is specifically defined as using other players specifically to gain height to block the kick.

He said Skowronek jumped before he put his hands on anyone, and didn't touch anyone until he was on his way down.

Says player do this every week, and it would have been incredibly "technical" to call it Sunday night.

Sounds good to me.
