...And it's a 36 year old Cam Heyward who was second team.
I'm left looking at this roster and thinking that if they don't beat Houston, they probably aren't getting a better chance. They can keep adding these aging vets to plug holes I suppose, but they are losing the few blue chip talents they had and as of this point no one has really stepped up and proven themselves to be a true game wrecking type player.

Id like to see some player development in addition to some stepping up.
Bringing in these aging vets might not be necessary if players were actually getting better each year.

Yeah we know TWatt and Dakaylin have All Pro salaries but how’s the front office doing bringing in young talent?
What’s in the potential All-Pro pipeline?
Troy Fautanu?
Zach Frazier?
Derrick Harmon?
Roman Wilson (duh)?

This franchise has fallen short in many areas that we really did take for granted.
To me, player development has always been the glaring concern and for whatever reasons, ’we do what we do’.

Jim Irsay on a three day bender was more engaged with his team than Sleepy Art.

Coked up Irsay would be texting his head coach at 3 in the morning bitching about a playcall that happened six weeks ago.

Note that trading up for Brod Jones is exactly the OPPOSITE of a Cignetti talent assessment.
