Rodgers Swan Song

Morning yinz
If you haven’t figured it out yet, the NFL wants Rodgers to go out on top with a SB win.
Here I lie out the easy path for us:
Obviously we start tonight with an upset of the Texans. Arthur and Mike T come up guns blazing on offense and end up only down 7-3 after 1, our first points in the 1st qtr of a playoff game in nearly a decade. Back and forth these two teams exchange punches with a late Boz FG the winning margin, 23-20.
On to NE
Maye is the real deal but he won’t be able to escape our pass riush as we cruise to a 27-20 win.
Back to Pittsburgh
With Josh Allen and Co taking out the Broncos, we host the AFCCG and defeat the Bills 20-17 with a pick late to seal the win by Samuel.
Steelers vs whoever in SB
We win 29-27 and celebrate our 7th SB win, with both Mike Tomlin and Rodgers holding a joint press conference to announce their “retirement.”
Steeler Nation lives happily ever after

If they are really writing a script like this, then we know the Steelers' Super Bowl opponent will be the Bears.
Think about it...

Tomlin gone is the only way I'll be living happily ever after.
Any other outcome (minus a SB win) will be purgatory for me and I'm sick of Groundhog Day

Texans go up 21-0 in the first quarter. Steelers mount a furious comeback to lose 33-13.

Ha. I’m holding out hope that Tomlin puts up 3 in the 1st qtr…..no easing in, we unleash hell in the form of a Boz 54 yarder.

For tonight, I want to either…
1) win
2) get blown off the field badly while boos reign down on Jibba and his fugazi defense & lame offense.
Losing a close one worst possible outcome by far.

As part of this, there is 10:16 left in the 4th Quarter and the Steelers have the ball at the Texans' 42 yard line facing a 4th and 4, trailing 27-13.
Tomlin punts.

Well that's a new one - hoping the league is scripted because it's the only way Tomlin can win a playoff game

This is creative writing. I like it!
What if the Steelers have the ball at the Texans 20, does Coach T still punt?

Stroud is about to take a kneel down in victory formation, fumbles the ball and it's The Jogger with the scoop and score to give PIT the incredible win!!!

Just because conspiracies sound good doesn't make them true.
Wondering what underhanded motivations the leagues had to make small market OKC NBA champs or send KC to the SB five times while the Jets and Giants flounder.
Sometimes shit happens.
Or the NHL is being payed off by Ron DeSantis.

It's doubtful. but probably the Steelers easiest path to a SB in the next decade . . .

Good chance this was Tomlin's best opportunity for the rest of his coaching career.
But he absolutely sucks on the offensive side of the football.

Yep.
One tje bright side, one thing we know about Jibba is he has a massive ego.
I don’t think he wants sole possession of longest consecutive playoff losses.
I think maybe he steps down now.
Sooooo great game.
