Well, for a good start, Magic Danny Boy played the game at a college level, so I'm pretty sure he may know a lot more than Dunce. Insider info says he hated Tomlinships. He wants to build the team and win real championships, unlike Dunce. So, you tell me how that is going to be a bad thing. Hell, he may very well be the only owner with game experience beyond a high school level.

Clark Hunt knew jack shit about football. He went to SMU and then Goldman Sachs. Spent time learning about MLS soccer. But, he's smart and hired the best people around him.

Danny? Who knows how he'll turn out. None of us do. He seems sharp to me. Played QB in college as a backup (Dartmouth). Went to Wharton School of Business. I've seen a few interviews and he carries himself well. He's definitely got more personality than his dad. Facially he reminds me a lot of grandpa Dan.

We'll see. It will be hard for him to be worse than the stale, outdated ideas of Art 2.

I've said this before. Whoever the next coach is going to be, I hope he lies to the Rooneys in the interview and says he's going to follow the party line. Then I want him to be like a virus that slowly keeps infecting the place until the old remnants of the stale Steeler way are gone. Art 2 won't let quick transformational change happen, so we have to hope for a compelling figure that can surgically drive the changes needed to get us in a better place.
