Not the biggest Everett fan

Like the smug cocksucker Louis Riddick correctly pointed out Everett was abused by Dezahn Stribling in both their matchups this year

However

Kirby does not have football coaches he has used car salesmen.

They’re there to recruit.

Coaching kinda optional

Just like the OL, the secondary was a hot mess this year.
Everett and his mates struggled with communication and tracking the deep ball

Everett will tackle and can run but he needs COACHING

Fortunately the former DB coach wordsmiff is no longer around to tell these kids “they’ll figure it out”.

We’re on the same page. I think this might be the worst of the picks so far, because I can’t unsee his ball tracking problems or awareness in zone issues. He got toasted this year as much as any CFB CB. Great athlete though

Sounds like a Tomlin-era pick.

The Steelers have been mostly terrible in the 3rd round in recent years- Kendrick Green, DeMarvin Leal, Roman Wilson, Kaleb Johnson... this year's 3rd round gives me the impression nothing much has changed. Maybe Dunker will be this year's Darnell Washington or Payton Wilson.

OG Pregnon was still sitting there and we needed a LG. Is Everette the better talent there at that spot - not sure, but I do Know Pregnon can play!

I actually like everette, good player, great size/athleticism combo, still young (21).

But…McCoy/Muhammad still on the board when we took him makes it feel pretty dumb.

He start as a gunner, give him 2 years of coaching and see what you have. Barring an injury he does not have to play right away. The new Pierre.

Regarding McCoy, it’s quite possible that Senquez Gholsten and Corey Trice have soured the Steelers on drafting CBs that may or may not ever get on the field.
