SBI Week 8?

Post by Pabst » Thu Oct 26, 2017 3:07 pm

Sorry if I'm stepping on Swiss' turf with this thread, but it was on my mind.

Obvious games this week are:
Chargers over Pats
Seahawks over Texans
Broncos over Chiefs
Colts over Bengals

Oakland @ Buffalo is tricky. I'd have to say Buffalo just because I'd love to see someone overtake NE in that division, even if it does give them a 5-2 record. At the same time, I don't think the Bills are as good as their record indicates and the Raiders are the scarier team come playoffs. I'd expect the Bills to come back down to earth later in the year.

Miami @ Baltimore. See above comments about the Bills. The Dolphins have either been blown out, or have won close/fluky games over bad teams and their schedule is brutal to close out the year. I'd like to see them bury Baltimore this week - Miami can't sustain this record.

The interesting thing is KC beat NE, so if we do lose to NE we could still hold a tie-breaker in the event of a 3-way tie.

Ben comes back, Tomlin doesn't = CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

I like SBI projections around and after the holidays as much as the next guy, but starting before Halloween seems like whistling through the graveyard.
Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile...
