Last night was tough. Tied it up late but gave it right back minutes later. Second line has been quiet the past few games.

I couldn’t tell last night if the special teams was messing with lines or Sully was trying switching things up. Seemed like there was some movement anyway.

Rakell being snakebit and some great goaltending (past couple of games I feel like Geno and Smith have had some top notch chances stopped) has really hurt the second line.

Half way through the second and the second line hemmed in but battl3d hard. Finally got a clear but Malkin stayed out and played a 1:44 -shift. Not a good thing.

2-0
Secondary scoring.

Hey, I'll take that kind of a win against that kind of a team.
If you see a fork in the road... take it.

Injuries

Rakell out long term

Rust being evaluated for lower body injury

Ruwedell is week to week

Rust is the one that stings, he has gott3n off to a strong start this season.
