I find myself disappointed, but not mad.

They deserved to win that game. Hockey gods just had a different idea.

The good news is they successfully made the adjustments that needed made in that series. They made them 1-2 games too late, but they still made them. That experience will guide them to make similar adjustments sooner next time.

I also saw a metric shit ton of fight and determination from the young guys tonight. That will provide value going forward as well.

This sucks in the here and now, but the future of this organization has hope, so I'm happy.

Great season, way exceeded expectations, and may have found something in Silovs. Bring Murashov up a few times more next season and get him into the mix. Looks like Malkin is coming back, I know Sid is in, we'll see about Tanger, but Kindel can keep developing, and the rest of the youths show that same fire, and we may have something here going forward.

The Pens showed fight and came back, but down 0-3 is just a tough ask.
