Re: Pens vs. Isles, Game Two
ZAR isn't finishing at all, but he's got to be an irritating guy to play against. If Malkin comes back and no other forwards are lost to injury, we're officially at the point where it'll be a tough subtraction. They have multiple guys on the taxi squad already who can play.
1 20 Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia
2 51 TRADE: Brandon Aiyuk, WR
3 84 Hunter Nourzad, C, Penn State
3× 98 Jarvis Brownlee, Jr., CB, Florida State
4 128 Qwan'tez Stiggers, DB, Toronto Argonauts

ZAR took a ton of punishment/cheap shots from NYI both games and didn't flinch. He may not have shown up on the score sheet, but he's definitely putting in work. I'd be reticent to mess with that line.
Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile...

If it's me deciding, I think I just bench Rodriguez and stick Malkin on there with Zucker & Kap.

Honestly, that ZAR/Blue/Turbo line could have been the 2nd best line on the team last night.
I'd agree on where to slot Geno if/when he returns. With the exception of the scoreboard, Zuck has been playing well. With some space from Malkin, the scoring might come for him.

ZAR is a Sully pet so there is that.
For me it comes down to versatility. Rodrigues can do more things than ZAR can plus he isn't light when it comes to hitting.
ZAR really has worked to get to where he is but he is maxed out. When he came up his big knock was his skating but over the past few years he has worked hard on it to become a competent skater.
He seems to have a nose for the puck around the net, probably because he is willing to dwell there but his hands are way too heavy to be factor in that regard.
It will be nice to get back to McCann/77/ 11
