Am I reading the standings correctly? Pens beat NJ and they are in?

Currently seven points up on the Isles with four to play for each- and up five in the RW tiebreaker. Currently 8 points up on Columbus and own the RW tiebreaker, but the Blue jackets have five games left for a possible 10 points and so could pass the Pens.
So all the Pens need to do is beat the Devils and they are in the postseason because they then can finish no lower than third in the Metropolitan, correct?

I think that's correct, yes...and very close to clinching #2 seed

Stats for this team are pretty nuts when you consider what the expectations were to start the season.
2nd highest scoring team in the entire NHL
6th best PP
8th best PK
Highest scoring Penguins team in the Sidney Crosby era
Had we simply gone .500 in shootouts, we could have the 3rd or 4th best record in the entire NHL right now.
If Dan Muse doesn't win coach of the year, it'd he a damn crime.

I'm so pumped to watch this team in the playoffs.
I don't think we're favorites to win it all, by any means.
But I expect some fun games.
And I really like the makeup of our forwards. I think many of our acquisitions were done with playoffs in mind. We have skill and speed, but we also have a lot of size and strength for them we need grind out some goals.

This has been an amazing couple of months. Tomlin leaves and the Pens surprise EVERYONE to be the 2nd seed in the Metro while building for the future. What an AMAZING job by Dubas!!! Muse looks like such a solid choice as HC!! I am just so happy!!!!!
