• Do I not get a fall? It’s the 3rd Saturday in October. It should not be 80 damn degrees even here in the South.

• “You’re slackin, Hack!” Athens a helluva college town that Game Day didn’t show nearly enough of. Broken record I am, but Game Day needs to up their…game.

• “Mr. Stanwyk's parents Marvin and Velma of Provo, were unable to attend the wedding. Those are three names I enjoy; Marvin, Velma, and Provo” LOVE Athens, but the Holy War on the campus of BYU would’ve been my choice for today’s Game Day location. SEC overkill ESPN

• “PLEASE DAD! We’ll never ask you for anything again!” Yes kids, UGA is one cool dog, BUT the cost of life let alone a bulldog is insane. Majestic beast but all that drool and heavy vet bills can stay up in Athens.

• Speaking of Jimmy Sexton. My dream football foursome would include Saban, Kirby, and Lane Kiffin. I’d dent more trees than usual teeing off with those 3 ball busters.

• Penn State could and should go back to back Vandy coaches. Clark Lea can name his job after leading the ‘Dores to their first 6-1 start since 1950!

• KC and Smith keep their man! The James Franklin fallout going to get a lot of coaches paid

• Vandy and Georgia Tech two white collar schools, but blue collar teams I want in the CFB playoffs.

• Shout out to the Sanford Stadium crowd. Always a “rabid” student section, but Kirby and UGA have worked hard to turn a usually lame wine and cheese crowd into the raucous bunch you saw today.

• Been to two Cigar games over in T-Town. AWESOME time and tradition, but I HATE cigar smoke and all smoke! Prude I am. Healthy, but a prude nonetheless.

• Been to one USC/Notre Dame game while living at Pacific Beach post college. Great rivalry that should not be going away.

• CJ Carr and Jayden Maiava two exciting (mistake prone) qbs could be long- time rivals both in college and the pros.

• “Cough it up Choppers.” I have an admittedly odd attraction to the AT&T Florida Gators tattoo artist.

• College football is great. College kicking is not.

• Amazon commercial with the short shorts dad stumbling on the treadmill makes me laugh every time. What can I say I’m old. No rhyme or reason anymore.

• Florida State playing on the farm in Stanford is weird.

I had 6 hours of driving yesterday so not much college football for me (live). i'll watch some games today.

Nuss looked better as a passer. Still not sure who comes out in this QB class. If Sellers stays he needs to go into the portal and go to a QB finishing school.

The Omar Epps comment legit made me laugh out loud. I guess it's the career trajectory for a guy that's nothing more than a gang banger with speed. On top of that, Zaxby's is so overrated.

Chris Bell is must watch football. He would be so wasted in Pittsburgh's offense.

Is Julian Sayin the best QB in the country right now? His accuracy and poise are off the charts. Reminds me a bit of Drew Brees.

Arvell is a top 10 pick, still possible for our beloved Steelers with the midseason implosion coming. I'm with you and ICE. Our ILBs blow, Thursday night exposed just how average they are. Lucky to be 6-6 after the next six weeks.

And yes, the Amazon treadmill commercial had my wife and I laughing. Funny how quickly we take over their rooms when they leave for college. And the shirt tucked into the short shorts....

Watch Carr from ND. I think he is the best QB in CFB this year. It could be a great class in 2 years. Carr, Sayin and Mensha(Duke) are playing some top level football now as either true Freshman or RS Freshman.

We have a Raising Canes 5 minutes from the house. Kids love it, I've had it once. It was good.

Chic Fil A has gone down the tubes quality wise the last few years. Used to be my go to....Probably haven't had it in over a year.

Joel Klatt has mentioned Hartline as a candidate. The problem with Hartline, Ohio State will be playing deep into the playoffs. Penn State will want to have someone in place before then. Recruiting, transfer portal etc.
