ILB Dean or Lloyd

Post by cop1211 » Tue Mar 15, 2022 10:29 pm

With the free agents and resigns on the oline, and hopefully someone else picking Willis, I’m thinking they will go ILB in the first.
Between Nakobe Dean or Devin Lloyd which one would you want?

I’ve only actually seen Lloyd play one time…in the Rose Bowl against my Buckeyes. I was not impressed, but it was just one game, so I’m not going to get down on him for it. Regardless, a lot of mocks have him going in the gop 15.
I like Dean…a lot.

The only thing with Dean that concerns me is his size. If it is as to replace Bush no problem, but to be the buck he seems a little small.

So far, FA is making me thnik the Steelers will have a more defense heavy draft

They also needed to balance out their cap from D to O. It was way out of sync.

I agree the back 8 of the D should get plenty of draft love.

On O: WR(1), T(1 maybe), and maybe TE (only if one of value falls or a really late round pick)

Dean, 10 times out of 10. I agree with Jobu. Lloyd looked a little Bushy in the Rose Bowl against serious offensive competition. Lost on occasion, to say the least.

Well with the Jack signing this thread is dead.

CB, DT, OLB, or S for sleeper round 1 (Dax Hill).

Cine, Dax Hill, Jordan Davis, Wyatt, Olave, or maybe one of the EDGE guys.

I would say WR,CB or IDL is the best bet but I feel Tombert would take Willis if he fell to 20

Incredibly deep TE draft class. Lots of off-brand guys who would be good complements.
1 20 Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia
2 51 TRADE: Brandon Aiyuk, WR
3 84 Hunter Nourzad, C, Penn State
3× 98 Jarvis Brownlee, Jr., CB, Florida State
4 128 Qwan'tez Stiggers, DB, Toronto Argonauts

At #20 i hope we are drafting a position other than QB and ILB but if i have to choose between the 2 of these guys, give me Lloyd. I'm done with undersized ILBs, and especially the ones that come from a loaded defense and that opt of any speed and agility drills at their pro day. Lloyd. It may be a pipe dream but i'm hoping Jordan Davis falls to us.
