BOB to the Buckeyes

Post by Steeldrama » Fri Jan 19, 2024 4:39 pm

So Buckeye fans, how do we feel about Ryan Day's giving up play calling duties to his new OC Bill O'Brien?

I'm thinking I could be the Buckeye's OC.
Hand the ball to TreVeyon Henderson.
Hand the Ball to Quinshon Judkins.

If this move pays off, I'm calling my shot now.

Buckeyes vs Bulldogs for the Natty.

GO DAWGS

I think it was time for Day to give up the play calling.
I’m not sold on BOB as the guy…we’ll see.

Like you said Drama, I’m not sure it matters with that rushing attack. The defense should be number one in the nation as well. It’s going to be difficult for BOB to screw this up. Ryan day is not f-ing around since the season ended, and it doesn’t sound like he’s done yet. I would agree with your national championship prediction.

Side note, Toledo’s head coach, Jason Candle was one of the final candidates along with BOB. I thought there was a legitimate chance to get rid of both Tomlin and Candle this off-season.

Buckeyes just loaded on defense
Eddrick Houston
Kayden McDonald
Two DL my son knows well
Phenomenal talents and nice kids

Former Drama student Jordan Hancock also should play a prominent role in the secondary
(Maybe he’ll teach Denzel Burke to tackle. Whew that kid fears contact)

If Buckeyes can steal the LT Proctor from Bama too?
Whew
Forget it

Buckeyes going to go scorched earth and get that National title

Today they added Julian Sayin….wow. Have to believe Air Noland will transfer now.

I think it's Howard this year, Noland and Sayin battle it out next spring, loser of the competition transfers. Keinholz and Brown could be leaving ASAP, but really, good riddance.

O'Brien was apparently pretty heavily involved in Sayin's recruiting to Bama, so if he has a say (and he will), Sayin's got a little leg up. That said, Noland already on campus and Sayin not till the summer. Should be interesting, and a great problem to have.

I really like Noland.

Fun times for sure and I don't they're done yet either. Still a lot of chatter about adding a tackle.

The Alabama OT going to Iowa sucked, but apparently he wasn't ever into the prospect of being a Buckeye, anyway, so it's whatever. Would be great to add to the line, though. I've definitely got a question mark on the OC from Bama after he got trashed by TTUN's DTs in the playoff this year, for what it's worth.

Also, from what I'm reading, Noland (and family) is making all the right noises (publicly, at least) about the addition of Sayin. Looking down the QB, RB and (as usual) WR depth charts, though, and the defense... wow. Things had maybe been BOOMing maybe a little faster than I could keep up with from a big picture standpoint, but holy cow.
