That was a real bad slate of games. Surprised how bad Clemson looked.

Hard to judge any players on games like this.

Yeah Clemson probably still reeling after LSU bounced them at home week one but 'm gonna give the southeast teams a pass this week.

My daughter and her crew texted me Friday night to come get them at Buford's $62 MILLION stadium (as an educator that misallocation of funds should upset me but wow what a palace) when it got delayed.

Mendoza (IU) looked better but it also looked like they were playing a HS team. He was able to hit crossers in stride which he was anable to do week 1.

I know several guys who like him a ton. He's got major accuracy inconsistency. Lots of trouble with certain throws that should be easier.

I'm starting to think that having a better record this year, might be a blessing if it means the Steelers get a QB not named Nussmeier, Klubnik, Allar, Beck et al. Those guys might end up more hyped than Green, Mateer, & even Sellers.

Klubnik has looked like crap for 2 weeks. Sellers might drop because people might be shy after Richardson. Nuss might also drop due to size. Allar looks like a QB which will get him in the top 5 if not top 3.

I need to watch Mateer.

The short report:
Great runner, gutsy when he needs to be to get first downs or scores.
A+ fastball
C touch
My Brazilian friends say that Brazilian men when first meeting each other assess which of two categories other men are classifield into, leaõ (a lion or morcego (blood-sucking bat). Mateer is straight up leaõ. Guy is a serious gamer, so a lot to like about his football character.

*Where are the elite RBs?

Chip Trayanum with 176 total yards and 3 TDs on Saturday. Nice player, but the Rocket that should be on your radar is safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren. I'm expecting a Quinyon Mitchell- like ascent up draft boards. The kid can flat out play. 91 PFF grade through 2 weeks. Great size and speed.

I'm still somewhat interested in Sawyer Robertson from Baylor. Can't tell if he's a legit NFL QB or not. Great come from behind win on Saturday.

Bryce Underwood is a kid, I get it, but he looks so mechanically flawed to me. Terrible footwork. Michigan going to lose at least 4 games this year.

Taylen Green's stretch of tough games start this week. It will be interesting to see what he can do against some legit defenses.
