The Marte Party is Over in Pittsburgh

Traded our best all-around player for two highly rated prospects (both look intriguing to me), though both are also at least 2-3 years away from the majors, at best.

The "rebuild" is on. What I want to see now that they figured out what to do with Marte is signing some people now that they are saving over 11 million. Some OF and pitchers, and maybe a better catcher than they have so far.

Thank you baseball gods!
Hurdle gone!
Searage gone!
Huntington gone!
Cervelli gone!
Marte gone! (Thankfully they got something before he gets busted again.)

Maybe now I can start “liking” my favorite team again.

Marte had great athleticism but did way too many stupid things way too often
