Sad news today. Our great early 70s closer has passed. Loved Dave, though I cussed him out mercilessly in the 9th inning of game 5 of the 72 NLCS. God bless you, Paisano, and your family and friends.
Dave Giusti, a World Series champion with the Pittsburgh Pirates and a relief pitcher who revolutionized how people think about the role, died late Sunday night. He was 86.
