The horse did go out at least two lanes and nearly caused a catastrophe, so there's that.

I'm definitely not expert on horse racing; but damn;; a huge call there. not sure what to think bout this one. gotta say I've have not heard this much chatter over a derby in long time. u know what they say about publicity.
set up for rematch in Preakness !

I have watched very derby for a very long time and that call was ridiculous.
The derby is always a hard race with a lot of contact. It’s young horses running the longest distance of their careers in the (by far) largest field of their lives. The track conditions were awful and the horse that claimed they were bumped was trying to squeeze through a tight hole. That crap happens every derby.
It’s a real shame because maximum security may be a special, horse

I wonder if limiting the field a bit; to say 12-15 of the best is not wise move! the derby seems very congested and dangerous even in ideal condition! not to mention the outside draws are practically impossible to win!

I know nothing of horse racing, but is sure looks like death or injury to humans and beasts were avoided. It could have been a tragedy.

Arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon. No matter how good you are, the pigeon is going to shit on the board and strut around like it won anyway.

It’s abundantly clear: There are more horses’ asses than horses
