What facts are helping form your opinion that he won't be a good pro?

Sound like alternative facts to me.....

Check out who and when he racked up 11.5 sacks 15.5 tfl against

Look at the pics floating around of him in street clothes around Pittsburgh....he blends right in with hs school kids...lol....not joking....look at his wrist circumfrence...lol....stop laughing...lol....he looks frail for a ROLB in the AFC North

Little over a year starter at OLB

Nice production from a converted TE in a good conference

Super athletic

Very young and still raw

Has a year to have Harrison tutor him on the position

Forget his last name and wrist circumference

The kid is just getting started. I love the potential.

Little over a year starter at OLB.....PROBLEM

Nice production from a converted TE in a good conference.......NOT THE BEST CONFERENCE PRODUCTION MAINLY IN BLOWOUTS AND AGAINST WEAK SISTERS

Super athletic.....AGREE

Very young and still raw.....AGREE

Has a year to have Harrison tutor him on the position.....MEH

Forget his last name and wrist circumference........LAST NAME PUT HIM AT 30 INSTEAD Of 130

The kid is just getting started.....MORE TRUE THAN YOU KNOW

What the fuck are you talking about? It's not like he's 250 pounds of goo - he's cut and defined.

The fact that he's 6'5", 250lbs and still looks lanky means that he has room to add a significant amount of bulk after he's had some time in an NFL weight room.

All I know is the dude has ginormous hands and really long arms. Once he's had a year in the James Harrison conditioning program, it will be fun to see how he matches up against LTs. By all reports his hand technique is already really something.

You can sit in your rain cloud all you want.

He may flame out.

He may blow the fuck up.

If you were going to be cool with Burns and Dupree, your position on Watt is absurd to me.

If there is any player that deserves a wait and see, it's Watt.

Holy shit! I just realized something -

If you put "SteelerChef" on Ignore, this thread on Watt shrinks from 22 pages to only 7!

Did the Watt bros. steal his pots and pans or something?

Best conference in football in 2016. Pretty much universally agreed upon except from PITT homers who discount 4 teams finishing in the Top 10.

Watt played at an awesome school in a big 5 football conference, and he produced at an all-american level in one season.

But the B1G isn't the best conference in football -- if anything, the ACC and SEC could lay claim to that title, given that they have played in the title game 2 years in a row.

However, this isn't a pissing contest about the strength of college football conferences -- TJWatt produced at a high level against excellent competition

1 or 2 good teams don't make a conference. I don't care if they made it to the title game.

This doesn't take in account the pressures he caused and double teams occupied that allowed others to make plays. Against Western Michigan he dominated Taylor Moton a 2nd rounder.

Correct. I don't follow college football very closely, so I don't know the context of each game which is obviously different from game-to-game. I just wanted to find numbers in close games against average to good teams. Chef's bold claim made me curious to see if it was true or not. After only looking at the numbers, it doesn't appear to be.

untrue. He looked pretty great vs some good teams. I think he had 7 tackles in his first start vs LSU, big production vs Mich State, Michigan, Iowa, PSU. Those are good teams.

I really hope you're prepared to eat shit if TJ turns out to be a good player. You are straying into Zivco territory. You don't want to go full Zivco.

I believe Perch said he's surprised the way some were bitching about the pick that we haven't dropped "J" in his name yet.

Hence...TWatt.....I then came up with Sir TWatt-a-lot.

Nice work DP39!

I find it nuts that people over the years, who have bashed certain players would rather the player be a bust to support their claims.....as opposed to hoping they're wrong and that the player succeeds....you know, that whole "SBI" thing

Sad
