I have him in that QB 2-5 situation right now. Malik Willis is better than everyone, I think. The ball just jumps out of his hand and he's great at running the football when needed. High football & leadership IQ.

Next group would be Ridder, Strong, Kelley, Barierre, McCall... but they all have some flaws. Haven't seen the Kentucky nor Louisville guys yet. I don't really see the NFL future for Rattler, Howell, or Corral.

I hope some teams drafting ahead of us disagree with you on those bigger names, as Drama mentioned. Been a Willis fan, and I'd love to see him in the B&G.

Then he will drop like Mac Jones did.

I’m hoping for one or 2 really bad Willis games this year....lolz..... I think he’s the only QB I’d take with Ben still playing well....right now I don’t see any chance he drops to the Steelers without a really bad game or 2 this year

I watched the Cinn/ND game. Ridder throws a good ball. He has an arm to make those out throws. His accuracy is still lacking.

Saw some of USC's game. Slovis is really hard to judge because he has Drake London. Slovis does not have to zip the ball in as he can lob it in London's direction and he will come down with it.

Corral got so buried by Bama I could not tell much about him. Still had a 74% completion with people in his face all the time.

On a side note: Michael Mayer, ND TE #87, looked really really good. His is listed as a sophomore and more of a traditional TE that blocks and catches.

Call me crazy if you like but I have watched Virginia twice this year and Brennan Armstrong looks like a player. I was watching Sam Hartman Wake Forest but left liking Armstrong more.

I am going get slaughtered here for saying this but I saw a little Favre like gunslinger from this red headed lefty. Made some ballsy throws into very tight windows.

Honestly, I think Turner is a 4th round pick, in terms of the buzz... but he's got something. Isaiah Likely is another one–– and he plays in a triple-option offense where he has to block. Will be interesting to see how the QBs shake out between now and the end of the combine. If you see the top 15-20 QBs throw side by side at the combine, we can put to bed conversations about arm strength and accuracy. It'll pop out. It also will matter who comes out and who doesn't.

Like, if Grayson McCall comes out, he looks and plays a hell of a lot like Justin Herbert, and he could fly up draft boards.

But he doesn't have a cannon... that's the point I'm making. He has Mason Rudolph's arm.

QB draft-eligibles worth talking about, sorted by height:
Cole Kelley 6061 260
Tyler Shough 6046 221
Jeff Undercuffler 6042 231
Phil Jurkovec 6041 226
Aqeel Glass 6036 215
Des Ridder 6026 215
Grayson McCall 6026 200
Carson Strong 6025 215
Will Levis 6021 232
Kedon Slovis 6021 200
Kenny Pickett 6016 220
Eric Schmid 6010 180
Kaleb Eleby 6010 215
Bailey Zappe 6010 215
Dorian Thompson-Robinson 6006 200
Tanner Morgan 6015 215
Sam Howell 6006 225
Malik Willis 6005 215
Matt Corral 6005 205
Spencer Rattler 6002 205
Jake Haener 6002 195
Eric Barriere 5112 200

Sam Howell 6006 225
Malik Willis 6005 215
Matt Corral 6005 205
Spencer Rattler 6002 205
Wow. I did not realize that the top QBs were so small. I know Willis and Corral but not the others

As a bonus, I'll throw in my 5 cent knee-jerk comp for each:

Cole Kelley 6061 260
Cam Newton, if Cam had gotten kicked out of Auburn, ended up getting his shit together with a great offensive-minded coach, and if he had young Ben's intermediate arm.

Tyler Shough 6046 221
Daniel Jones with a touch of Nathan Peterman

Jeff Undercuffler 6042 231
Looks like Marino throws like late-stage Peyton Manning

Phil Jurkovec 6041 226
Jeff Undercuffler if he played at ND & BC.

Aqeel Glass 6036 215
David Gerrard

Des Ridder 6026 215
Byron Leftwich

Grayson McCall 6026 200
Justin Herbert with good, not great arm strength.

Carson Strong 6025 215
Mason Rudolph with better pocket presence.

Will Levis 6021 232
Taysom Hill with college Brett Favre's arm/head.

Kedon Slovis 6021 200
Andy Dalton with a little less arm strength.

Kenny Pickett 6016 220
UCLA Tommy Maddox

Eric Schmid 6010 180
Duck Hodges

Kaleb Eleby 6010 215
Gardner Minshew

Bailey Zappe 6010 215
Colt McCoy

Dorian Thompson-Robinson 6006 200
Joe Webb

Tanner Morgan 6015 215
Steve Bono

Sam Howell 6006 225
Baker Mayfield's younger and slightly less-talented brother

Malik Willis 6005 215
If Randall Cunningham went through a trash compactor.

Matt Corral 6005 205
Johnny Manziel with a good life coach and better judgment.

Spencer Rattler 6002 205
Discount Patrick Mahomes, with more propensity for mistakes, and less propensity to overcome them.

Jake Haener 6002 195
Straight up Jim McMahon

Eric Barriere 5112 200
Slightly bigger Kyler Murray

If those comparisons are accurate the Steelers should pass on QB, and trade down in the first and second, to double their picks.

1.LT
2a.CB
2b.RT
3a.OG
3b.SS
3c.WR
3d.CB
4.TE
5.DT
6.None
7a.RB
7b.OLB

2023
1.QB
2.WR
3DE
4.DT
5.RB
6.OLB
7.CB

Watch his driving intermediate throws—it’s the same lack of ball energy that Mason has. They both look the part but they arm isn’t as strong as their size would lead you to believe. Just like Mason at OKST, Strong benefits from a fantastic WR/TE combo.
