Also, anyone else experiencing a bad case of post-Ben-is-not-done-yet-euphoria syndrome?

Inability to think about anything else?
Failure to do your job properly (I have my first class tomorrow and cannot bring myself yet to care or prepare).
Scouring the internet for different takes?
Logging onto SteelerFury every five minutes?
So happy I got plans through the 17th knocked out on Saturday afternoon right now.

Oh, and it appears MLK Day is going to come in clutch this year, as well.
MLK day comes in clutch every year! If only we could get another federal holiday to breakup this monstrosity of a winter month! Fuck you January!

While I continue to think you conspiracy-minded folks are fools—I mean, I personally like to have actual evidence (your desires and feelings are not evidence that your judgments conform to reality, by the way) before I form judgments, but that's just me—I went to bed without even having checked on the Chargers-Raiders game. Wake up, steep my Asam tea, sit down at computer. Enter "nfl" into my search engine, and

WHAT.
THE.
FUCK.

Seriously.

Oh you missed out on at least half the fun of yesterday. I'm sorry, brother. But your cardiologist thanks you.

If we can all agree this shit is scripted, I can think of no better ending than #7 hoisting Lombardi #7 for the Steelers.
I would totally be fine having the NFL rig that for us while all the other fanbases bitch and moan along the way.
They did it for Ray Lewis, Peyton Manning, Elway and even the Bus.... why not Ben?
They didn’t do it for Rivers or for Eli or for Brees. Why not?

#7
One last ride....

The only way that is happening is if someone give Mahomes, Hill and Kelce the "Nacey Kerrigan" treatment. Might have to pay off their DC as well
I had no faith that the Jags could beat Indy, yet here we are.
Am I betting the house on Steelers over the Chiefs? Nope.
Am I gonna sit back and enjoy the ride this week? You betcha!

  • Brees was up against Brady and Tom Terrific was a better story.
  • Eli wasn't a starter at the end of his career
  • Rivers was in his first season with a different team, not really a compelling story.
Not saying it will happen for Ben but he has received more end of career than anyone I can remember since Ray Lewis so you never know. If it really is scripted, why not Ben?

Because the asswipe reporters, including the local PPG guys, making 1/500th of what Ben does have never forgiven him for being a dick after they all called him a game manager his first 5 years.

 For sure.

I know it’s a long, long shot, but wouldn’t it be the greatest “fuck you” ever if Ben is standing there hoisting that trophy while the confetti drops all around him?

One can dream.

I am trying to think of a more compelling story.

Rams...well they could win in SoFi but do people really care?
49ers...third to #6? Boring
Cardinals...nothing
Bucs...Brady wins his 8th. Well they love ball washing him so maybe...
Packers...NFL is pissed at Rodgers right now, so no go
Dallas...fun to watch them blow it in the first round yet again
Eagles...Kelce is retiring but who celebrates O-linemen

Chiefs- Mahomes is not that much of a story anymore
Raiders- A sendoff to John Madden? Maybe
Titans- nothing compelling there
Bills- Allen's coming of age?
Patriots- Can Belichick win with a new QB?
Bengals...can the Bungles finally win a playoff game for the first time in 32 years? Burrow young and hungry might be a script
Ben...#7 leads the 7th seed to their 7th Lombardi in his final season

Our story might be the most compelling story... 8-)

Ehh…I still say that if…IF the league was manipulating things, their number one story line would be Bill against Tommy.

Ben just needs to say…”fuck you Jobu (I take no offense  ), I do this myself!”
