Good stuff guys. Thank you.

And I’m with Wil. I can’t stomach another defensive disaster in a playoff game. Even if we lose, lose a close one. Do not embarrass the Steelers organization on national TV with another Browns or Jaguars performance.

45-42
48-37

Even though the game went to overtime the Steelers against the Tebow led Broncos was another playoff embarrassment.
Was not expecting Denver to even be competitive let alone pull out a win. Defensive game plan was crap and Ike Taylor was burned badly by Demaryius Thomas.

29-23 OT Loss in wildcard round

1) an hour and a half podcast on the Steelers without mentioning Najee Harris by name?

2) FC is right on Haden and Maulette.

3) Perch is right on Sorenson. Fat Andy guy and he blows.

4) Montravius Adams needs snaps and to shine.

5) FC right on getting JJSS back is huge for the room. Leave it to a hockey guy.

6) Get ILBs off the field in favor of DBs.

7) Pressure without blitzes: Win.

8) Non Steelers upset? Philly Philly. All PA Super Bowl dream.

Great job, guys! This site is the best. This game has all the plot points of an old Western movie. We all know who The Man in Black is. Been an awesome year, HERE WE GO!

I think Najee playing is huge, just because of the guys behind him or lack thereof. But I also think the Steelers run game, although a factor, is pretty far down on the list in terms of scoring and attacking. They'll need him to close, for sure.

And, hell, obviously there was a ton to talk about.

I agree with you on all but 6 and 8. The Steelers have enough trouble vs the run-- more DBs makes that harder, unless your goal is to sucker KC into running it more. Which might not be a bad idea.

Thanks for listening and hope you enjoyed it.

The Chefs are inefficient running the ball. I'd love to sucker them into it, but Fat Andy will live or die with the pass. Smith's point on screen game is why I'd try to get our ILBs out.

And sheesh, great listening as always. And two weeks of Hard-nosed.

Philly is actually the worst team in the playoffs (0-6 vs playoff teams), but I really want an all PA Super Bowl.

I think Philly has a puncher's chance at TB. They kept it close early in the season when TB had their full complement of receivers and PHI's offense had yet to figure out their ass from a hole in the ground.

Shades of TB-WAS last year.

There were three good chances for it to happen.

2004 We blew it
2008 Philly blew it
2017 We blew it with that horrible horrible loss to Jax

Excellent stuff, gents! I don't often get to listen (or in this case, watch) our podcast, but whenever I do, I am always duly impressed and entertained. Thank you for helping keep this site the best around. Was a treat to hear from Hardnosed!

Let's go!

I tend to blame the Cheats cheating for 2004, but one could put it in old FGB and the team, too.

I want to believe but I don’t see how you can logically make a case, after watching the two games yesterday, that the Steelers can string together one playoff win, let alone four.

I will always have hope, but the gulf between the best playoff teams and the Steelers is huge, and even Ben’s Big Gray isn’t gonna be enough to bridge it.

I've talked myself into giving us a chance :o

Peak Watt at full health wreaking havoc. No TOs unlike our 1st game vs Chiefs. IF we go into the 4th still in the game we have the 2021 QB league leader in game winning drives 8-)

I'm not just happy to be here playing with house money. I want to win this game. I'm a greedy fan :D
