Want to get back to Steelers’ football? Here’s a guy who is arguably the dirtiest, play to the echo of the whistle, best on you all day long, knock you to the ground and the. Keep knocking driving you into the ground until the whistle.

I’m pretty sure Sacred Heart asked him to leave because he wasn’t kind enough and FCS asked him to leave because they were afraid he was going to hurt someone.

He transferred to Rutgers, moved from OT to guard, which just gave him more targets to choose from. I think we’re going to train him for center too, and some day he’ll find a spot and stay forever.

And he’s not just mean, he tested and he moves on tape like a freaky athlete. Our kind of guy.

With the 243rd and our final selection of the 2023 SrewleFury Board Mock, the Pittsburgh Steelers select:

JD Direnzo, OL, Rutgers

With their 9th and final pick (7.244) in the 2023 SF Board Mock Draft, the Denver Broncos select…

Matt Landers, WR, Arkansas

Yes, I’ve already added Cedric Tillman AND Trey Palmer to the fold, but even without the potential trades of Courtland Sutton or Jerry Jeudy, the Broncos have multiple depth contracts expiring within the next two years. The Pseudo-Broncos were tempted by a few other diamonds in the rough, but ultimately this was an opportunity that couldn’t be resisted in terms of improving depth and adding top-tier speed to the room.

Sean Payton will certainly find something creative to do with these guys.

Final Draft Picks:
*3.65 Tyjae Spears, RB, Tulane
3.67 Cedric Tillman, WR, Tennessee
3.68 B.J. Ojulari, EDGE, LSU
**4.129 Trey Palmer, WR, Nebraska
5.139 Mike Morris, DL, Michigan
*5.161 Jon Gaines II, OL, UCLA
***6.183 Stetson Bennett, QB, Georgia
***6.198 Ryan Hayes, OL, Michigan
**7.244 Matt Landers, WR, Arkansas

* DEN sends WR Courtland Sutton & 6.194 to HOU; HOU sends 3.65, 5.161, and ILB Blake Cashman to DEN
** DEN sends 4.108 to DAL; DAL sends 4.129, 5.169, and 7.244 to DEN
*** DEN sends 5.169 to DET; DET sends 6.183, and 6.198 to DEN

Not bad for a draft without R1/2 picks, Pseudo-Paton… Not bad at all…

With their final pick, the Patriots select: Ryan Greenhagen, LB, Fordham

Does that name ring a bell? Same guy who set a record with 31 tackles vs Nebraska. Same guy who managed 100+ tackles in each of his last 3 seasons, including one in which he played only 5 games. Yes, you read that correctly.

About 6'1'', 240lbs, we welcome this already-accomplished downhill thumper whose coverage skills have caught scouts' eyes, too.

With the final selection for San Francisco, they look at a player whose biggest strength is his versatility. It’s debatable what position is Hill’s best because he’s a slot corner who can also play both safety spots. He also has NFL-caliber athleticism and strong instincts, making him a valuable player at the next level and a potential steal on Day 3 of the draft.

Without further ado, with the 255th pick, the 49ers select:

Pittsburgh Steelers Draft 2023:

1 17 - PIT - B2B - Dawand Jones, OT, Ohio State
2 32 - PIT - B2B - Drew Sanders, LB, Arkansas
2 49 - PIT - B2B - Julius Brents, CB, Kansas State
3× 101 - PIT - B2B (via SF) - Marte Mapu, S/LB, Sacramento State
3× 102 - PIT - B2B (via SF) - Jose Ramirez, EDGE, Eastern Michigan
4 120 - PIT - B2B - Malik Knowles, WR, Kansas State
6 192 - PIT - B2B (via IND & NE) - Calvin Avery, DT, Illinois
7 234 - PIT - B2B - Christian Braswell, CB, Rutgers
7 241 - PIT - B2B - JD Direnzo, OL, Rutgers

I also added a couple of players from last year's class I liked a lot, both of whom got injured before they could show out last year:
TE Andrew Ogletree
DT Kalia Davis

First three picks were really great value at their spots; almost an ideal board for us getting players at the top of our board who also fill needs. The second half of the draft added speed, team captains, experienced guys who can play, size, power, toughness.
