Jaguars LBer calling out Steelers plays pre-snap
From Trib-Live
This time, it’s Jaguars linebacker Foye Oluokun after his team topped the Steelers 20-10.
“I think we played pretty physical. I don’t know if they really ran it on us that much. (We) kinda called out a lot of their plays before it happened. We might see them again later. That’s a good team, so hats off to them. We’ll be prepared if we see them later,” Oluokun said to 1010XL after the game.
But the Steelers local media shills tell us, “players are just failing to execute.”
For nearly three season the players have failed to execute?!?
That’s not remotely reasonable to think such a thing.

To say the obvious,
It’s really hard for an oline to block when the defense knows to expect run vs pass, and what run blocking to expect on a run.
Really hard for WRs to get separation when LBs and DBs aren’t worried about the run, and especially if they know what routes to expect.
And if you can’t blame the oline for not being able to pass block or the WRs for not getting separation, the one left to blame is the QB.

At this point, I’m 90% certain Canada will get an extension during the offseason.Mick wrote: ↑Tue Oct 31, 2023 12:15 pmTo say the obvious,

So, maybe the players will execute better in year three…or maybe four.
I mentioned in another post that this is the 5th time I can remember an opposing player essentially saying "we knew the plays". I routinely see opposing ILBs taking steps towards the line of scrimmage pre-snap knowing it is a run.
Tomlin believes Xs and Os are for losers. We should just be able to man up and execute. It's probably been the most infuriating thing in the last 3-4 years and you know what? No one in the Steelers FO or ownership seems to care AT ALL.

When there is a decade long waiting list for season tickets, Art II doesn’t need to care about the product.

The Jags weren't exactly CIA covert with their offense either. There was a run play where the QB hollered "Burner, Burner" at the line and then gave the ball to Tank Bigsby, the rookie from Auburn.
The futility jumps out.

9 for 9; 114 yards
If the Jags were showing their hand on offense we are too stupid to notice.
The game should have not even been close. Three turnovers and 0 for 3 in the red zone and the Jags won by two scores.
Once you wrap your head around it I guarantee that never happens in an NFL game. Steelers offense is so bad it’s bucking trends.
