Among other things the Colts have put together the best secondary in the NFL
CB Julius Brents
CB Dallis Flowers
FS/NCB Terrion Arnold
SS Tykee Smith
And the best RB in the draft…..
And the best run stuffer in the middle…..

If you'd have done the trade earlier, I'd have happily picked my actual targetJackLambert58 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2024 9:13 pmA bag of dicks each for Ice and Zabo's girlfriend Uganda 's Joy.
But seriously, I've been hearing from Iggles fans all week the price they paid for KP was mild. Trust me, living through the difference between that 3rd and 4th, the talent that went by, for a career backup QB for a team looking to add players this year. Tremendous deal by Khan.

Must be nice to have a loaded roster with no glaring needs...
Those Russ Wilson trades really helped the rebuild process the last two years!

I'm not sure I'm in on the reference: Are you inspired by the backups Charbonnet, Kenny McIntosh, & Bryant Koback? Not exactly Murderers' Row.ugandasjoy01 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2024 9:45 pmMust be nice to have a loaded roster with no glaring needs...

Really liked Charbonnet coming out, and McIntosh has skills. Kenny Walker's a plus starter when healthy. Adding in Wright's potential, it's a deep, deep group.

Charbonnet: 4.53
McIntosh: 4.70
Wright: 4.38
That's why it made sense to me. Now they have two 4.38 guys and can bring in a fresh 4.38 guy off the bench. As a Steelers' fan, I can only dream of having RB speed like that on the roster.

Some of his college tape, as a Steelers fan, gave me young Wille Parker nostalgia.bradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2024 10:02 pmCharbonnet: 4.53

Wright isn't quite as fast as Willie but he really reminded me of an pure tailback of the old Oklahoma/Nebraska days. Like a Mike Rozier.Ice wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2024 10:46 pmSome of his college tape, as a Steelers fan, gave me young Wille Parker nostalgia.bradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2024 10:02 pmCharbonnet: 4.53

Now that's an old school callback. Luxury we probably can't afford in Pittsburgh, but man...

How about a Jaylen Wright and Tatum Bell comparison? Very similar stature and style of play. Speed, speed and more speed. Bell put up an astonishing 25 reps on the bench.
That looks like a lot for a guy that fast.
Jalen Wright:

I was planning on taking Stiggers later, definitely the type of guy you take a chance on in the third day. I figured you'd be all over him and you were hah.

So... the pace has been wonderful but
Tomorrow is going to be legendary. Saturday, too. Please have yourselves ready to roll-- we're going to rock it the next two days.
I'm going to Mexico City on vacation next week-- first time off in like two years. I'll have texting while I'm on the plane on Sunday and in fact while I'm in Mexico... but I would love to not have to prompt everyone while I'm down there. Hopefully, we make good progress tomorrow.
If you know you're going to be unavailable, please send me a list or instructions. I can handle a bit of if/then so do your best to keep things moving!

Matt Lee (C) – Performs well in all aspects. He moves exceptionally well, frequently positioning himself to make an effective block 20 yards away from where the ball was snapped. He’s a strong combo blocker and has shown the ability to anchor. A lot to like.

Jalyx Hunt Hybrid S/LB/Edge - Fluid athlete that mirrors in coverage well; impressive short area quickness and change of direction. Long arms. OTs struggle to punch him, but does not show or attempt any pocket push – presently not much of an individual rusher and looks scheme dependent to get to the QB. Like him far more as a coverage player than as a pass rusher today.
Certainly a much better athlete than the rest of his teammates, but is not running around like the Tasmanian Devil trying to make every play. Plays under control and attends to his defensive role. Bit of an LL Cool J lookin’ dude. The Western Kentucky game is about the only tape available. Bigger version of Thomas Davis, or drop 10-15lbs and play a jumbo strong safety.

Redskins draft is now complete.
Looking at the roster I felt it was malpractice to add a QB in the first round with a shitty O line and no weapons. Took the surest thing in the draft with Marvin Harrison Jr, added two new tackles, a receiving threat TE, shifty RB, a couple defenders then took a solid QB prospect who will sit and watch most of the year while the team sucks ass. They’ll be in position to draft a top QB next year if they don’t feel Travis has it as a starter.
