Hope they continue to clean things up on O, and Russ stays healthy . Man I can't wait for him to face that turd of a pass D Baltimore is showing, week after week.Orangesteel wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 4:17 amWilson’s mobility looks absolutely fine to me. In fact he looks like hes moving very well.
The Oline still has issues. One guy has major issues. Dexter Lawrence is just an absolute monster. He really is Aaron Donald level game wrecker but even larger.
McCormick and McCullom had a tough task and we came out with the W and no injuries.
Wilson’s arm is hot and he’s accurate.
Frazier comes back that’s a massive plus and you aren’t playing Lawrence every week.
Broderick Jones needs to just clean it up, period.

Yeah but you need to rotate them so they don't both have to come off at the same time.K_C_ wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 3:35 amExhaustedTexas Black & Gold wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 3:34 amI wonder if they were tired or just better match ups?

I counted 4 times the Steelers threw it short of the sticks on 3rd or 4th down tonight. Those were all 3rd downs, and one of them was converted for a 1st down.

I always said Kenny Pickett’s ceiling was Kirk Cousins and I would have been good with that. I think he had awful coaching but his entitled attitude when Russ was signed to compete for the starter’s job was unbelievably dumb.Steelperch wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 3:37 amI remember you laughing at me for saying his ceiling was a low end Daniel JonesThank God Kenny is a bitch or we would’ve had a losing record while Russ was out.

I worry about the Bengals putting up lots of points more than the Browns. They could sweep the RavensSteelperch wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 3:35 amThe great state of Ohio is giving us 3 wins. We will at least split with Baltimore. Probably win 1 other game. That’s 11-6

you were kind. I thought (and still think) his ceiling is Pennington or Fitzpatrick. Decent backup, well travelled.K_C_ wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 9:23 amI always said Kenny Pickett’s ceiling was Kirk Cousins and I would have been good with that. The Steelers offense is going to have a problem running it vs the Ravens-- and you know they're going to come into the game with a slobberknocker mentality. Is the Pittsburgh passing offense sophisticated enough to work without as much threat of the run? Not sure.jebrick wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 11:56 amI worry about the Bengals putting up lots of points more than the Browns. And health and in-season improvements really come into play. A month ago, no one feared Justin Feilds and the Steelers offense, the worst QB in the NFL was QBing a Chubb-less offense in Cleveland, and Cincy was winless. Who knows what it looks like a month from now?

I think making a move for Slayton is a smart move. Steelers need to use the bye week to get better for this back half. They are getting healthier which is the first step. Jones may need to sit for Cook until Jones proves he’s taking this shit seriously.
Patterson is a threat
Continue to use Najee and Warren in tandem
Pickens - Slayton - Jefferson - Austin is a very good WR group (sorry Roman, your lame ass missed da train!)
Feed Muth and Mount Washington
Throw the ball downfield and build the run game.
We finally have an offense than can move the ball. We play our A or B game that is good enough to beat the teams in the NORFF.

FWIW Chubb hasn't looked good since his return.
Also, bit of a side note - Denzel Ward and JOK are both probably out this weekend.
