I agree this is a Steelers forum but I'm baffled as to why so many posters here hate the Steelers, Tomlin, certain players and constantly want the team to lose. Even when they are winning some want them to lose.

Through the years, Swiss has become someone I truly looked up to.

Plenty of the responses here scream "millennial Steelers fan." Sure, there's a good chance they could lose tonight and we all want Mike Tomlin to leave, but that's just not how fandom works.

At least this is not how it's supposed to work, but Social Media of the last 20 years has changed all of that I guess.

Lay it all on the line tonight and beat these motherfuckers. If George Pickens has any pride, he'll make at least 3 very big plays this evening at the Steelers will win 27-23.

One cannot be a true disapprover of Tomlin unless you get the intricacies and nuances of what Tomlin was able to accomplish by jettisoning away Canada and the entire QB room!

By getting forced into firing Canada; his handpicked sock puppet, super under-qualified, gave a scholarship to Tomlin’s son, damn near nepotism hire, probably the worst OC in the history of the NFL, and then jettisoning away his entire QB room, Tomlin was in essence able to remove any chance of scrutiny of his OC choice because he can say it was Pickett, Rudolph and Trubiski that were the problem, most of the problem or part of the problem. It wasn’t really me hiring a guy off the street. Nothing to see here….MOVE ALONG!

Tomlin should have been fired over the whole Canada fiasco alone! But in its entirety it sums up Tomlin’s absolute bull headed tendencies and his awful reliance on any HR policies learned over the last 100 years!

The more you dismiss the Pickett pick and his being jettisoned, the more you bury one of Tomlin’s biggest flaws and blunders, and a waste of 3 years in our Steelers athletes’ professional careers!

I think the way Pickett regressed proves Tomlin basically castrated him. Throw in the fact that he seems to be injury prone probably signals his exit from the NFL within a few years without much more playing time than he's seen to this point. I'm not sure how you can stay in the league long being that frail. He had a great chance to show something in his last few games this season but he couldn't even make it through one without getting hurt. Seems like that should be it to me.
