Apparently on Blvd of the Allies. Should have been right by Rooney’s home.

Steelers subreddit is fuming at this. They love their winning seasons.
"Work harder not smarter" - Mike Tomlin
Hallelujah!!!
This is seriously the only way changes will be made. Rooney hates this kind of shit

Kevin Adams is the Steel Here podcast guy along with Jersey Jerry. That’s phenomenal.

these dopes likely still don’t understand that they in part brought this on themselves when they opened their mouths after the season

Exactly, they tried to hide from it, but Art's brother opened can of worms, and they can't run from it now with their talk around the issues

I'd love to see a banner in the stands:

The stands won't be empty, it will be like a Raiders game with other teams fans invading like the 49ers fans did 2 years ago in the Steelers season opener. Rooney wins either way.

But why? Rooney still gets their money, and then they are paying for a game they don't even go to.
My guess is Steeler fans invading nearly every opponent's stadium is a point of pride. Seeing the seats with with fans of other teams might sting even more than seeing empty seats.
I think if reporters and analysts start talking about the stands filled by fans of other teams that it would be HIGHLY embarassing for Deuce.

As if the fans sitting in the stands are only from the city of Pittsburgh. It's one of those tropes that smacks of lazy analysis.

Don't check out r/steelers on Reddit.... unless you're a homer/Tomlin apologist, you get downvoted to oblivion.Works At A Bank wrote: ↑Thu Feb 13, 2025 1:06 pmSome of those replies just wreak of homerism and idiots who can’t see the forest because of the trees. The stands have to be empty. That only happens if the ticket holders don't go, and don't sell their tickets.
That is the only way Rooney does anything regarding Tomlin, imo.
Tomlin and deuce have an army of bots online
Ha, Coach lives out in Squirrel Hill.
He probably sees this driving home. I would hope that Kevin Adams planned it this way.

The one thing that got the Steelers to move on firing Canada was the chant that echoed throughout the stadium, which could be heard on broadcasts. Those chants made it to Penguin games, and then onto ESPN’s college game day. That was a national movement.
I’ll bet if people started chanting “Fire Tomlin” like that, it would eventually get to the point where Mediocre Mike would have to go. Hearing the fans across the country screaming to fire Tomlin on every broadcast would embarrass the Deuce (well, it should).
It would also help if merch sales plummeted. People also need to turn in their season tickets, but I understand that is in all likelihood not going to happen. Even if someone gives theirs up, someone else who has been on the waiting list for years will most likely snag them up. It would be nice if fans sent a message by not going to the games and eating the tickets but that’s not likely to happen either.
An empty stadium, especially on a national game like a Sunday or Monday night would be an awesome time to no show.
Fans have little leverage. They must organize and use everything they have.

Tomlin is not going anywhere and he will never be fired. Best you can hope for is his contract runs out and he Bruce Arians “retires”
Some facts:
- The Rooneys don’t give a fuck. The stadium is sold out well before the season starts since 1972 and there is a 20 year waiting list for season tickets
- The Rooneys don’t give a fuck. There isn’t much to do in Pittsburgh except eat drink and watch football. It’s kinda a boring town beyond that.
- The Rooneys don’t give a fuck. None of them really understand football or the NFL anymore. It’s just an income stream to them and the NFL handles all the dirty work. The Rooneys have checked out as far as being any kind of influential or contrarian voice with the NFL. What fuck do the Rooneys know about anything other than collecting the checks and signing the checks. Tomlin handles the team and even when they suck he’s good enough to keep the suckers hoping til the end and hes good with the press

No, I understood your point perfectly. It just happens to be wrong. Fans of other teams in the seats is WORSE than empty seats.anpsteel wrote: ↑Thu Feb 13, 2025 8:26 pmI think you missed the point, entirely.Kodiak wrote: ↑Thu Feb 13, 2025 12:00 amBut why? I think we are getting to the heart of the matter
The Steelers are becoming the pirates with a twist
The Rooneys are now the same as nutting
It’s just about keeping a sweet ass revenue stream and there is guaranteed money
And NHALS is the hook
Pirates invent dumb shit every year to fool the fans and the union
Steelers have NHALS to hang their hat on
Tomlin delivers that so he keeps his job
Tomlin surrounds himself with people who accept that reality … staff and players
Everyone - except about 1/2 the fans - are happy
The Rooney are projecting their real feelings - what’s everyone upset about ?
What me worry
