Rodgers will eventually sign with the PS because of his interest in archaic primitive shamanistic cultures.

When the defense holds any offense to 20 points or less and the team loses, it is on the offense.
Exactly. A team with a competent HC wins that Cowboys game easily. The Cowboys' defense was an injury-riddled mess but the offense couldn't do a thing. Fields absolutely owns a big chunk of that loss.
FTFY. When the crappy HC hamstrings the QB, what do you want JF to do. Can't audible, no throws MOF, running a slow RB into a stacked line etc etc.
I think both Tomlin and Fields suck, but I think the Steelers win that game if Russ played (even though Russ pretty much sucks too). Hell, the offense looked better in that game the few snaps Allen was at QB. Fields just isn't very good despite the hype.

Whether you like the guy or not…..
The Steelers are a shaky fit, and Aaron knows it,” Cowherd said on The Herd. “He doesn’t wanna offend Mike Tomlin. It may be, if he wants to play, his best spot. But they can’t figure out offense. I’ve gone over this a million times. They’re tone deaf to offense. I think they’re now making moves just to make moves. I just think Aaron is too smart to think the Steelers are a good fit.”

Hard to argue the glaring flaw on this team. “They’re tone deaf to offense”, which is obvious to fans and has been for at least the last half of fraudlin’s career. Not a stretch to argue it goes back to the earliest part of his career, Hind Sight is a bitch!

Rodgers is a dick of a human being- but I'm all for signing him-

A. because, while he can still throw the ball, he mails it in far too often; AND he's not going to play within the structure of the offense we've seen the past decade or so. So while he may be an improvement, he'll absolutely ruffle some feathers.

B. because it will almost certainly be a shit show. The potential for implosion and resulting significantly negative impact upon Tomlin, is absolutely worth it.

Where I am at as well. The Rudolph-led Steelers will be football boredom the likes of which we haven’t seen. At least with Rodgers there is plenty of entertainment (this is entertainment, isnt it?)

Who wouldn't love Sanders v Rodgers two times this year? Kenny in to sub in garbage time with the Browns up by 3 points and the Coach T Steelers unable to move the ball.

I'm not betting that Kenny isn't a Steeler by September.

If this prick does not sign by the next camp the Steelers must tell him to fuck off and move forward with who they have in camp.

Dollars to donuts this is the real reason Rodgers hasn't signed. He had no intention of showing up to mini-camp and OTAs. Probably signs a few days after.

Christsakes guys,
Practice? We don't need no stinkin' practice.
As far as this organization is concerned we are only a QB away from the SB. Rodgers will show up right before the 1st pre season game, wave his magic wand and lead us to the promised land dontcha know!?

nfl radio on sirius was driving the story all day yesterday that - Rodgers doesn’t need to be at OTAs or any practice for that matter - he could show up a week before the season and it’s fine. He can pick up things quickly and doesn’t need to participate. Two steelers fans called in and they were almost berated for saying rodgers needs to be with the team.

they were obviously fed and told to push this story - so i am concerned now he is indeed going to sign and this is all because he doesn’t want to attend early practices

and tomlin never admits he is wrong so don’t see how he is going to be good with rudolph. plus it’s a risk to NHALS.

i think rodgers is going to sign with them unfortunately

Could be Rodgers' people feeding that story.

I think Rodgers plans on playing football. But he's going to keep his options open as long as he possibly can. Unless they would seriously consider pursuing Cousins, does it really matter to PIT? What other option do they have at this point?

The media can throw all of this down the memory hole like they do every year.

No talk of last season's collapse.

The later in the season Rodgers signs, the greater the likelihood of a total clusterphuk.

Total Clusterphuk is what I am rooting for. Better draft position. Better chance Dummy the Owl is fired.

This is where I’m at. Will be funny to have Rogers come in hell of late and have Jibbs hand over the job anyways.

Hope we start 0-4 under that scenario.
Jibba Jabber’s offense hasn’t scored more than 7 1st quarter points in 82 consecutive games. An NFL record by far. A historic amount of “easin in”. We are lucky to have him.

Tomlin doesn't have the patience to start 0-4. He'd bench Rodgers for Rudolph before they get to 0-3.

One of the overlooked aspects of NHALS is how little patience he's shown for young guys, particularly QB's. He yanked Rudolph the first time like it was nothing because he went all in on that lost season and traded for Minkah. Then there was Trubisky who sucked but he then forced an unready rookie into the line-up to shore things up for...what?

If it's not NHALS at stake, Tomlin is the biggest pussy on the planet. He has more job security than any coach in sports. It's been proven. He's chasing a meaningless record instead of just doing what's best long term. Sometimes, pain is an important part of growth.

Maybe Duck Hodges is still in football shape. Has a pretty hotwife. Might as well bring him back too.

There's a good chance Kenny will be the odd man out in CLE. I'm not joking.

Maybe we can toss a high draft choice at Cleveland and bring him back.

No level of idiocy from these dipshits would surprise me at this point.

Yeah, somebody on ESPN sent him to Atlanta with Cousins coming to Browns. It´s really a pity that pre-season Hard knocks this year are Bills, not Browns. Would love to see that.

From a team stability and locker room perspective, I'd prefer Rudolph.

From the train wreck perspective, I'd go with Rodgers.

Hence my choice.

I agree Tomlin believes having winning record is the most important thing. Unfortunately so it seems for AR
