Literally anybody, possibly including matt canada, could run an elite college team with $50M NIL money.

No point in giving college coaches money anymore.

Tell that to an Alabama fan

Sabin seemed to indicate one of the key factors in his decision to step down, was the negative impact of NIL

If he were to come back, I would imagine it’s going to be after NIL rules have changed

If they do at all

Saw a report today that Alabama actually only has like $20 mil in NIL money. So that may be the real reason why Saban stepped down and why he's been so critical of NIL in general. Alabama is getting grossly out spent and can't dominate like it used to. Other top teams are paying 2-3x the money.

That blows my mind. I thought Alabama boosters had deep pockets

Yeah, I saw McCarron saying ALA lost its mojo with NIL and it won't ever come back.

By that logic Texas should be the biggest NIL winner given its endowment and crazy ass boosters. Also OR USC but for some reason OR never completely has its shit together.

By that logic they should also be second fiddle to GA for a long time. Hell, maybe even Vanderbilt will show up in the SEC.
