Just finished watching the DVR-ed game.

OOF.
Fortunately we didn't get the Steelers game today. We put on NFL Gameday Live and only had to see the lowlights.

If anyone thought this season was going to be any different from the last 10 seasons is nuts.

Why get angry you should have already saw the same crap coming. It’s like Groundhog Day.

Hoping NE crushes these bums.

Apparently one of vets cursed out Kaleb in the locker room after the game
Multiple sources confirmed tempers flared in the locker room immediately after the game. One veteran defensive leader confronted Johnson directly, unleashing a tirade that left younger players stunned. Silence fell before coaches stepped in to restore order. Johnson sat quietly at his locker, visibly shaken as teammates tried to rally around him.
As bad as that play was, who on the D thinks they played well enough to point fingers?

They did hold the seahawks to under 400 yards on offense ....

I am not sure they'd include Ramsey as a defensive leader since he just got here. Watt seems like more of the quiet type. My money is on scam.

That’s the opposite of what leadership does. Leadership lifts that guy up and tells him to make a play, be better the next opportunity.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if that "veteran" was Ramsey, but it's just pointless speculation.

Guy has always been a me-first cunt and it's been laughable watching people talk about him like he's a leader bringing the right sort of energy.

The better story is that this is only Wk2 and already the sniping has already begun.

I know one thing: Only FAs on this team have won a playoff game (Scam might have 1), much less a ring. The guys responsible for getting boat raced in the last 6 playoff games have NO ROOM to talk.

I can't find any sources for this... in fact, is it possible it's about Diontae Johnson and Minlah Fitzpatrick, who famously had a big locker room brouhaha?

This is the article that originally popped up in my feed. That said, I can't find any corroboration so who knows if its true (though none of us would be surprised if it is)

That's a game that the Steelers are usually on the other side of, because they usually get the crucial turnover(s) to win the game. It's rare Pittsburgh is on the wrong end of the turnover which decides the game.

Yeah, I was listening to the guy next to me

of course I looked it up after the fact

Anywho

What a stellar performance, on both sides of the ball, today
Do you think they meant "haven't forced a 3 and out"? I can't recall if we've done that this year.

If you have ever seen “For the Love of the Game”, baseball and love story, Costner movie. I think a great movie.

In the movie a guy hits a deep pop fly for what should be an easy out. Instead it bounces off the fielder’s head and turns into homerun.

Costner character gives a stern, professional, don’t let that play define you lecture to the young kid. That is how it should have been handled, on the field and off.

Anyone that does anything other than that is a cancer.
