The problem I’m seeing is that it simply won’t matter who they sign.

Especially these has been scrubs that bounced around the nfl like a pinball.

As long as the same tactics/schematics are implemented the same results can be expected.

There is no ’Fix’ only to play out the season letting the chips fall where they may and then make the necessary changes.

I can’t imagine they would continue to live in this denial but here we are….

I would hope from a business perspective they will have little choice and be forced to make changes.

I am always so happy to see other teams say we are the easiest team to play against. We just keep doing what we do, so preparation for us is almost non existent. They probably give their players the week off know that the answer has already been given to them time and time again. Just watch a little film and it is easy to see how to destroy our D and stop our O cold. Love our coaching staff for the bare minimum of work they consistently put in to make sure this team is ready to play on Sunday

Don't worry, Greg Cosell thinks Steelers run defense was good against Seattle, as long as you take away all the long runs...lol

Our active roster might actually lose to some of other teams practice squads.
Jibba Jabber’s offense hasn’t scored more than 7 1st quarter points in 84 consecutive games. An NFL record by far. A historic amount of “easin in”. We are lucky to have him.

These statements should not be dismissed.

Damning for the current coaches and players…..
The Steelers don’t give up rushing [yards],” Harrison said on his Deebo and Joe podcast. “As a base, that’s one of the things that’s supposed to be the standard. You don’t give up a 100-yard rusher. I really can’t understand what’s going on with this defense/. I’m nervous. I’m scared. The defense is bad. You gave up 32 points to the Jets. Almost 400 yards.
“That was the hardest watch for me on Sunday,” Arians said on The Pat McAfee Show. “To watch that defense, knowing that Casey Hampton and Aaron Smith and James Harrison, all these guys that had played in that defense for all the years, going back to Joe [Greene] and the rest of the guys. They get stoned by a fullback, and both linebackers get knocked down, safety can’t make the tackle. Seattle just ran it down their throats at home.”

I love it. Hope it just gets louder and louder and louder.

Jibbs has enjoyed damn near 100% protection from criticism. Once more do it others will be able to join in.

Hope they lay another egg tomorrow.

All even funnier after Watt and Scam spent the offseason deeming themselves sooooo worthy of needing more money.

Both fleeced the fuck out of Rooney. Fucked him hard. Like first day of prison hard.

That was the longest 2 or 3 years on these forums. That worked its way into all threads.

It's impossible to evaluate the roster with this coaching staff. We've seen too many guys go to other teams and thrive especially when they are put back to their original positions. How many guys has this staff completely ruined? When they've looked good in the past under Tomlin, it's when they had multiple DMVPs on the field making "splash" plays. Even then, they still get blown out in the playoffs because their schemes are easily solved by most coaches in the league. Hopefully McAfee, Arians, James, Ben and all the talking heads keep commenting on it. Maybe if the Rooneys are embarrassed enough, they'll finally find the balls to make a change.
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”

Same issues some communication on defense but what bothers me the teams TE continues to run wild on this defense. Nothing changes in adjusting for years how don’t you get this Fixed
