He was OK, I guess, but he only had a season or two with Ben. He's a mediocre blocker and receiver. I thought his contract was bad when they extended him, and Muth hasn't done anything to change my mind. He's a good dude by all accounts, but he's a bottom half starting TE at best. I would have traded him to the Skins without a second thought.

Then he gets rewarded by the team as a top 10 TE in the league with his new deal, then they trade for Jonu Smith and give him more overall reps. He’s not included in the offense much at all and has to be wondering what the hell they signed him for. Steelers screwed the whole use of him up every way you can.
