If the Steelers are serious about the playoffs
What moves do you see Omar needs to make if they are serious to make a Playoff Run.
None
I don’t think they have any intention of giving up draft capital to acquire another player
And I don’t think they have any desire to give up quality depth for another player
I know there’s a lot of Internet activities suggesting they are going for a wide receiver, but I don’t see it
Why would they spend or money to bring on a player that isn’t going to be utilized?
Additionally, there’s talk of the team trading either Highsmith or Freiermuth, for either a wide receiver or inside linebacker.
Again, I would ask why would the team willingly make itself weaker at a position of strength for a player? That’s likely not to have much impact this season. Keeping in mind Tomlin’s “moving train” mentality.
Anyone they bring on at this point in time would be stuck on the sideline chasing the mythical moving train
I just don’t see it
I’m not editing it this time, but voice to text is just ridiculous. lol

They need another quality WR to compliment DK and Austin. For some reason Roman Wilson isn't filling that niche, neither are Smith or Muth. Skowronek and Scotty Miller aren't ideal 3rd options.

I would guess it would have to be the right deal and require limited draft capital.
they will not make any moves
they have the "talent and the schematics" in place to make history
they think they are right where they should be now
and I am not being shitty with my remarks
I just believe they think the Plan is in place

Burks was cleared to sign with any team and would not cost them any draft capital

I wouldn’t be adverse to burning say a fourth-round pick for a receiver. But with the teams facing the injuries they are, I’m not sure who would be available.
Garett Wilson—I’d be willing to give up a second-round pick. Kid can play, but they are winless in New York. Justin Fields—The Checkdown King.

Tomlin and Rooney have both referred to making the playoffs as a "lottery ticket". Tomlin has pulled off quite possibly the greatest mind-fuck of his boss in history, maybe outside of Brute.
Why try to improve your team if winning a SB is nothing more than chance?

I cannot believe they couldn’t get Jakobi Meyers for a 4th rounder, which is draft capital they can part with.W&M_Steeler wrote: ↑Mon Oct 06, 2025 2:37 pmThey need another quality WR to compliment DK and Austin. If they are serious about winning, that’s a deal that should be made immediately.
The Raiders have nothing to play for

Wilson has superstar level talent, he just hasn’t had a QB. I don’t see the Jets trading Wilson for anything, really.Who Dee Knee wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 4:59 amI wouldn’t be adverse to burning say a fourth-round pick for a receiver. The Justin Fields (and Aaron Glenn, for that matter) experiment has been a massive failure and the Jets (like the Raiders) could be looking for a QB in the first round and unless Wilson demands a trade (which isn’t out of the question) I don’t believe the Jets will deal a young emerging star.

The misplaced focus on WR2 in light of the turnstile on the left side of the OL is baffling to me. We're talking about Rodgers having a guy a little more open to throw to vs. going out for the season or worse.

Very hard to find a tackle at this time of the year. Beside DW will line next to Jones to help
Anyone see Jibba’s explanation as to why Friermuth has been essentially removed from the offense??
Latest excuse is the Vikes run a 4-3 and it isn’t fair to ask a 250 lb. TE to block 4-3 DEs.
Ummm ok but how many teams in the league run a 4-3?
I’m guessing a majority.
How many other teams TE’s are about 250 lbs.? Prolly a lot.
So Muth was sooo important to the offense they had to give him $50 million but now he’s too small to block a commonn NFL front and must ride pine.
And yet who was out there to get several snaps to start the game????
Lil Connor Heyward.
Is there a more dysfunctional (and full of shit) team in the NFL than us?

They should trade Highsmith and Friermuth if possible , see if the Raiders want either for Meyers, or trade them for draft picks and to free up money.
