This is simply how Tomlin is always going to play games.

Take the 3 unless you''re down 2 scores late.

For whoever bitched that Washington is called Outlier, THAT'S why.
Gimmick seems like a more accurate description

The fact that you can make this post once or twice a game is LITERALLY the definition of an outlier. And in that context, not a complement
The Steelers had 1 drive today.

Washington can run like a motherfucker for a huge guy.

It isn't Outlier's fault he's only targeted once or twice a game.

Sounds like a Tomlin/Smith problem to me.

Dude is a monster.

That drive sputtered.

What the Steelers are going to do is obvious; basically throw the ball under three seconds and hope a TE or Metcalf win a one on one battle.

They need to employ more window dressing and pre snap movement. That isn’t a winning formula against this defense

And that was a complete blown coverage.
Are you suggesting - nerrrr, IMPLYING - that DCs don't stay up at night gameplanning for the Outlier?!?!?!?!?

Gabriel is tiny. He looks like Switz at qb.

Gabriel should have thrown a pick there.

Run to Judkins coming up.

Well we saw the Steelers patented "run into an 8 or 9 man box on 2nd and 10" on that first drive. We can get that out of the way...

While happy for him I feel bad for Gabriel.
We both played ball at the same school in Hawaii.
I think he is due for a long day.

Quick whistle.

That was a fumble.

Watt would look better as two future 1st round picks.

The NFL product is too f'n flag heavy. Every 2-3 plays we have to stare at some dumbass ref just dumbly explaining something to the camera.

So true — especially over something’s that shouldn’t be a penalty.

Looks like we are settling into a typical Steelers type of game
