B Jones, no holding penalty and no sacks given up.
This is his first season at his natural position, LT.
He has a lot growing to do but all the tools are there.
Secure NHALS early and then go deep into the PLAYOFFS.

Browns just benched Miles Garrett so Mason Rudolph won’t kick his ass again

Seemed like Roman Wilson maybe got 5 snaps today.
This offense doesn't even seem to want to use a #2 receiver.

It would have been hilarious if Mason ran the ball over and handed it to him after the last kneel down.Steelperch wrote: ↑Sun Oct 12, 2025 8:19 pmBrowns just benched Miles Garrett so Mason Rudolph won’t kick his ass again

I remember several times that Schein tried the character assassination on BEn ..."He doesn't have people over at his house!" that level of crap..hated him ever since.Steelperch wrote: ↑Sun Oct 12, 2025 8:12 pmI would say how I feel about him but then I’d have to ban myself

Yeah...I'm just not seeing a top 5 D. They feasted on a rookie QB today, who has few legit weapons. Browns were able to move the ball. Steelers are soft in the middle. I'm just not impressed by what I saw today.
someone, maybe KC a a game or two ago said Pierre doesn't deserve the shit he gets from posters on the forum.
At the time, I just shook my head, but dude is playing much better as a DB this year, no doubt. He's always had the physical tools, been issues upstairs, which is why it irritated me soo much. Hopefully he's finally had the light turn on enough for him to be serviceable, or maybe even better DB.
I'm going to start rooting for him.

If I think back on all the dumbest things I've ever said about a player not having it or being a "complete bust".. it was almost always about an O lineman..lol...they can surprise you and suddenly "get it"..hope that's the case here.Texas Black & Gold wrote: ↑Sun Oct 12, 2025 8:19 pmTrue. Its difficult to imagine Flacco being worse than this kid.
I guess if you consider running the ball two or three consecutive times in a series, with each series getting 15+ yards boring (happened at least twice) , o.k. I don't personally consider a good run game, to complement the pass game boring. Steelers aren't there yet, but almost. Doubt the Balt fans think Henry running the ball is boring, at least when he's not fumbling the ball.Stillchest wrote: ↑Sun Oct 12, 2025 8:25 pmThis offense, like its D are mostly laboring and boring. With the exception of a couple of ARod throws...boring![]()
The stains were the #1 D against the run going into this game. I thought they ran pretty well when needed against that D.

Flacco is bad against man coverage.
Steelers need to bump the receivers off their routes on Thursday and Flacco will struggle

They played. Solid game against a crappy team
Gabriel isn’t going to be a pro Starting qb
There is no doubt that Rodger’s runs the smith Tomlin system as they want it run as opposed to rubbish from last few years
What I am waiting to see is if they will Change when facing a quality opponent coached to try and take advantage of our weaknesses and tendencies
I am skeptical but can dream

His only shot is some moon balls to Chase & Higgins. He used to run that play with Baltimore for massive gains on the weekly.Orangesteel wrote: ↑Sun Oct 12, 2025 8:39 pmFlacco is bad against man coverage.

Not going to know for two more weeks, but they did what they had to do today.
the steelers will be 5-1 and then their real season begins. we will learn after that whether we do what we do or we do some of what we need to dobradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Sun Oct 12, 2025 9:05 pmNot going to know for two more weeks, but they did what they had to do today.
Flacco is god-awful and it's a mystery to me how he keeps getting regurgitated ...

Steelers need another WR. Trade Freiermuth if you need to.
Ask Rodgers who he wants. Game knows game. He knows Roman Wilson is not a serious receiving threat.

How many snaps do they even have 2 WRs on the field? 3 is almost unheard of. This is the Darnell Washington offense. Heavy sets, pound the run, make you matchup against a TE with a DE or LB on occasion, chuck a few deep to DK. Another WR will be collecting dust with Muth. I’d trade Muth but for a pick or to fill another hole.Orangesteel wrote: ↑Sun Oct 12, 2025 11:52 pmSteelers need another WR. Trade Freiermuth if you need to.

I have noticed Watt lining up offsides in previous weeks. He got a sack on one such play and the offside wasn’t called.steelmann58 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 12, 2025 9:36 pmthe defensive offside penalities were terrible today whether they were offsides or not is another matter.

Little bit of difference between playing man vs the receivers Cincinnati has and playing man coverage against the schlubs Cleveland has.Orangesteel wrote: ↑Sun Oct 12, 2025 8:39 pmFlacco is bad against man coverage.
