Hope the kid doesn’t develop full-blown Limas Swede-itis.
He'll figure it out

I was really surprised that they drafted Johnson over Skatteboo. Skatteboo runs with vision and violence while Johnson runs likes he's deciding whether to choose door 1 or 2.

14 rushes
36 yards
1 fumble
1 TD allowed

Now okay, yesterday he wasn't really put in a position to do much. His last two carries came when we were trying to just run out of the clock. But still....

He looks slow, soft, and has no wiggle.

Hard to see it with this guy. Looks like an absolute waste of a top 100 draft pick.

There were a few times yesterday i was happy with the speed and power he showed. Then i saw the jersey was actually a 30, not a 20, and i would sigh.

In this current era if you are gonna draft a RB top 100 he better be really special and/or an exceptional fit for your offense

Otherwise

You still have a plethora of solid RBs 4-7
And UDFA
And FA
And cuts
And 31 other practice squads

The Steelers under Tomlin have been a team that never quite looks good enough on paper unless they get very lucky week after week September through February

No other position has been more of glaring WTF than RB particularly given the Steelers approach to a We-Gotta-Rest-The-Defense style of offense
