Friermuth should have fallen down at the 1.

Muth should have fallen if they were down 1 or 2, not if down by 6

Sad that as great as that play was you couldn't enjoy it because you knew they scored too soon

Right...I didn't like get excited at all when Muth scored. And as much as the announcers were saying that the Bungs would run it 3 times from the 35, I fuckin knew they would be throwing it.rooneytunes wrote: ↑Fri Oct 17, 2025 3:55 amSad that as great as that play was you couldn't enjoy it because you knew they scored too soon
Just finished watching at 4 am. Stay up half the fuckin night for this bullshit.
That’s one of the worst losses I think I’ve ever seen.
By any team, ever.
By any team, ever.
“We’ve got to write that story. We’ve got enough talent, we’ve got enough schematics to do big, big things. When I say big things, I’m talking about historic things.”
Just saw the instance where moron Jones tackled Rodgers from behind after the Muth TD.
How is someone that stupid. LOL.

While that makes sense on the surface, after watching Cincy score on all but one drive since the first quarter, which do you think had a better chance of happening:Dan Smith--BYU wrote: ↑Fri Oct 17, 2025 3:47 amMuth should have fallen if they were down 1 or 2, not if down by 6
A) Bengals get 25 yards with over minutes a 2 TOs and have a good look at a FG attempt.
B) Steelers get in the EZ with 1st and goal and 4 downs to do it while using click and also forcing Cincinnati to use it's TOs.
Like Rooneytunes, I barely celebrated when Muth scored because I knew there was too much time left and our D had already blown its wad with their one 2nd half stop. I had zero confidence they would keep the Bungs out of FG range with all that time left.

Imagine the fury if Rodgers ended up injured from that tackle...
How Jones could think a 325 pound man tackling a 41 year old QB from behind was an appropriate celebration is beyond me...

That Steelers defense couldn't prevent the Bengals from getting into FG range unless there were 10 seconds or less on the clock. One or two uncovered passes to Chase would have yielded 40-50 yards easily.
Didn’t Tomlin elect to screw around at the goal line because he wanted his D to win the game couple weeks ago?

Point well taken but imagine what happens if he goes down on the one, and then they drift back to the 11 on some stupid penalty or sack or something and don't get in.
Don't forget that dumbass goal line penalty turned 7 into 3 in the first half and that would have gotten the Steelers over the margin of victory with that last FG.
If your defense is so bad you have to not score when you are down by six, you're not a serious contender anyway.

If you post here then you 100% knew our D wasn’t stopping them after Muth scored.Like Rooneytunes, I barely celebrated when Muth scored because I knew there was too much time left and our D had already blown its wad with their one 2nd half stop. I’m sure there are some delusional fan boys out there that still believe in Jibbs and foolishly believe the hype bout our D.
Jibba Jabber’s offense hasn’t scored more than 7 1st quarter points in 81 consecutive games. An NFL record by far. A historic amount of “easin in”. We are lucky to have him.
The entire team is dumb. They follow their leader.TimmayLake wrote: ↑Fri Oct 17, 2025 12:23 pmImagine the fury if Rodgers ended up injured from that tackle...

I seriously dislike this team.
Until Dunce and Jibbs are gone this team will continue to be exactly what they are and have been.
Sure, they’ll when & flow and appear to have figured it out at times.
Jibbs will ALWAYS revert back to being arrogant, stubborn, unprepared.
Seeing them embarrassed is waaaaay more entertaining than meaningless wins against a winless Jets team led by Joe Montana errrrrr Justin Fields.
Our wins mean shit. You can tell exactly who we are by our losses. Those always reveal the deeper issues that plague this once proud org.
Bunch of frauds now living on past accomplishments while gaslighting the fans into believing their hype and bullshit.
