Pathetic.

What’s even more pathetic is that trending right now is #FireAustin

They just can’t bring themselves to say it….

#FireTomlin

It’s the only way out of this nightmare.

Nothing else matters as long as he is HC.

Did the Steelers also give Chase a mule with that 20 acres of real estate?

If Chase is that good why wouldn't you deploy a double team at the LOS and hand check the hell out of him?

Also what happened to the corner blitzes? What....would they have completed the pass if Chase's guy blitzed?

I have just doubled teamed Chase the second half at the line of scrimmage and then corner blitzed from the double team periodically.

Zero imagination when the damn has burst...just stand there and drown!

Tomlin was living in his fears of the Flacco moonball and thought it would be better to let Chase get 23 frickin' targets.

They were so terrified of Chase getting behind them for big plays, they gave up 912 10 yard outs and slants instead. Most of his catches were easy pitch and catch passes against air. Chickenshit defense.

This particular play was a busted coverage. As usual.

It's not like Patrick Queen (who appeared to blow the coverage) was going to cover him all that well, anyway.

It also made any pass rush impossible because the ball was out fast.

This $200M defense is the rope that Tomlin is hanging himself with. There are no more easy excuses. If you, as a defensive guru and with easily the leagues highest paid defense, can get carved up by Justin Fields and Joe Flacco . . .

And to think that they haven't had to play Jackson, Burrow, Mahomes, Allen, Stafford, etc etc.

I guess what I'm saying is . . . this may be the moment we have been waiting for. A proficient offense (finally) being held back by Tomlin's inability to coach up a defense chalk full of hall of famers (on paper). How does he talk his way out of this one?

I think he'll double down on turnovers and blame the offense that scored 31 points for "putting the defense in bad situations"

Most likely.

Jibbs is such a freaking fraud. Has gotten by his entire career on the back of great players doing great things.

Ben saving his ass many times.

Troy P doing his shit in his prime.

Silverback with a 100 yard INT return in the SB

On and on. All great individual efforts.

Jibbs plays checkers while other coaches in the league have mastered chess.

I knew the moment this cunt was living in his fears while pissing and moaning bout the Browns GM that our paper champion defense was going to get their shit pushed in yet again while Jibbs bites down on the pillow.

Got soooo sick of the repeated shots of him last night with that blank fucking stare he gets going once the ass fucking begins.

That is the look of “I have no answers for this” and “someone, anyone please make a play to save my ass”.

Joe Flacco knows our defense better than our own defenders do.

Shit, Tom Brady could roll off his couch and without watching new film still light is the fuck up.

Never never never trust a Mike Tomlin defense when it matters.

We’ve got to be one of the worst front runners of all-time. This team can never stack wins. This team always folds once the narrative shifts to us maybe being a contender or taking a hold of the division.
Jibba Jabber’s offense hasn’t scored more than 7 1st quarter points in 81 consecutive games. An NFL record by far. A historic amount of “easin in”. We are lucky to have him.

blame it on turnovers and say I told you so --this is what happens when you let the O dictate the plan
and protect NHALS and his 200m genius lead D of talent and schematics by doing what he always does
attrition possession ball
you can already hear him
and its all on tape from the past 12 years
they will finish 9-8 and they wont make the playoffs unless the win the division

I hope the D continues to fall apart.

Best way to dagger Jibbs is for his highly overpriced, highly overhyped, and highly overrated defense to keep getting their shit pushed in.

How is this for coincidence?

Last year vs the BENGALS, Russ Wilson had a really great day and the offense scored its greatest number of points. Wilson was audibling and had complete control of the offense. We smoked the Bengals that day.

Immediately afterwards, Tomlin says he's not comfortable in those types of games and they immediately stopped Wilson from changing plays and went back to run run pass punt and the season spiraled from there.

Cowherd was blasting Tomlin and Steelers defense today as well, said they've had the highest paid defense the last 4 years and haven't finished even top 10 in total defense once.

Defense is about effort and desire, you know what type of guys that play with effort and desire...young cats who haven't hit their 2nd contract yet...to have a dominating defense you really only need one true stud pash rusher on the d-line, with a bunch of athletic young guys full of piss and vinegar, this is the reason the Chiefs defense has been so good the last 3-4 years.

On nfl radio they did the opposite
They blamed the game,on the INTs and warrens flea flicker mistake
Yet managed to not blame Rodger’s for the INTs … called them great throws
Not one peep about defense

Think about all that had to happen, or not happen, to have that happen.

It's ridiculous.

Corporate malfeasance. Frcikin Enron shit.

and there is a new argument this morning on NFL radio this morning .... not tomlins fault, he has assembled a great D but they are an older bunch and therefore in a short week game they just don't have enough time for the older players to fully recover ... all of that said as if it's perfectly Ok and normal argument

Stale Tomlin needs to go, because he’s put his ego and NHALS above actually competing. But Russell Wilson sucks even worse than Tomlin, no matter what bullshit his agent leaked while he was on the the street looking for a team.

Took 4 weeks for Russ to play his way to the bench in NY, because, again, he sucks. Or are the giants not letting him audible either

And don’t forget you also need a competent DC. We lack one of those too.

Super happy we gave Scam and TJ Flop even more money though. They really deserved it. I mean, just look at the results.

Normally this would be the only thing talked about on sportstalk radio.

It’s scandalous.

But Coach Non-Stick is still there on the sidelines looking defeated and pathetic.
