Prepare for a 8 game losing streak

Post by TimmayLake » Mon Oct 27, 2025 10:22 am

Colts, Chargers, Bengals, Bears, Bills and Ravens are all likely losses.

NHALS is in real danger folks.

It's hard to see more than 2 wins in that stretch. This just might be the end of NHALS! And in the year they went "all in" too  Go figure- the 2000 Redskins approach of signing a bunch of past their prime, expensive defenders doesn't work very well.

wishful thinking. They will split with the Ravens and can beat the Bears and the Dolphins. Just need to beat the Browns to NHALS to continue.

That only gets them to 8 wins.

Didn't the Bears just get their asses kicked by a depleted Ravens team?

That's one I think the Steelers probably win. I wonder if Flacco will embarrass the Steelers again at home? Bengals and Bears are the two most likely wins I see in that stretch.

4 wins to NHALS Ravens, Bears, Dolphins, Browns. Throw in that they might be the Bengals

4 more wins only gets them to 8-9. They need 5 wins (or 4 wins, one tie) to get NHALS.

2 wildcard factors

- The Steelers WILL continue to overload Warren. Particularly now that Ls are starting to pile up. He will probably see some significant injury time

- At what point does Rogers bail out mentally/physically ?? At some point he’s going to start getting rid of the ball quicker to avoid a beating. I could also see him just reaching a fed up point as the losing mounts

...until you realize the game is in Chicago, site of many a Steelers fiasco.

Noll: 0-3
Cowher: 1-1
Tomlin 0-2

I think that started last night. He wanted no part of getting hit by Parsons.

On the road at Soldier Field is a loss. Sorry...

2-6 is best case scenario over the next 8 weeks. 1-7 is far more likely.

It's worth noting that the Flacco-led Bengals the the Lamar-less Ravens are probably favorites over the Steelers to win the AFCN.

Kinda sad typing that after the Steelers started 4-1.

Come on, guys. You've all seen this play out WAY too many times to still not understand NHALS.

No chance we'll have an 8 game losing streak, or even lose 6 of those games.

You're forgetting the inverse of the Tomlin special. I'm talking, of course, of those 2-3 games per season where we win games no one expected us to win. They typically occur at the point of the season where the fans and local media are at peak fervor. Then they come out and beat a team that everyone thought would blow us out of the stadium.

And then Tomlin comes out in the postgame presser, acts all tough, gets super condescending to all the members of the media (because, how dare they doubt his greatness), and then we get a barrage of articles that week about how "maybe they're turning the corner".

Then they come out the following week and get throttled by some lesser team and go .500 the rest of the way, completing the NHALS prophecy for that season.

So in other words we should blow out the Colts and Chargers, then lose to the Dolphins by 4 scores.

Road game out of conference against a QB he has never played and under an innovative offensive HC could be trouble, and normally I'd expect a turd of a game, but I think NHALS desperation might be enough to counter that and result in a Steelers win. Plus, Rodgers has a ton of good experience against the Bears, so that might weigh in somewhat.

According to Pro Football Reference, the Steelers have won 1 time in Chicago (1995) since 1936.

While the fat fuck Chris Berman might disagree, nobody, and I mean nobody circles the wagons better than Jibba Jabber when NHALS is on the line.

It’s all he has. He might even be able to talk TJ into moving my around a lil or allow Artie Smith to call two passes in a row.
Jibba Jabber’s offense hasn’t scored more than 7 1st quarter points in 84 consecutive games. An NFL record by far. A historic amount of “easin in”. We are lucky to have him.

Man I hope so. Be damn funny after their pathetic “all-in” effort along with giving even more money to Scam and the loafer.

Parsons shit all over TJ last night. As did Garrett in his game.

I don't think you understand how bad the Bears are capable of playing.

...and yes, I know the Steelers suck, but Caleb Williams isn't good at football.

Even Tomlin will confuse Caleb. He doesn't even care all that much about playing football.

Agreed. We typically play like shit there. I expect we'll get bullied all day and actually make Caleb Williams look legit, even if it's just for a week.

If a team can . . .
- pass block for 1.5 seconds
- spread out receivers
- pass and catch at a CFL level of competence
- not turn it over

they will drop 30 on the Steelers.

Steelers need to be almost perfect on offense "and" win the turnover battle to win games

TBH I don't see how Tomlin survives this mess. More than ever this team has his personnel preferences, his schemes, his coaches. The org has bent over backwards to do "non" Steelers things (Metcalfe trade. Ramsay trade) to help mediocre Mike.

There is no way around a complete rebuild. And it's impossible to think that Tomlin could lead it.

The FO is not happy with NHALS. I think they deluded themselves into thinking that Tomlin can lead them to another title and that the team has been 1 player, a franchise QB, away from competing. That might have been true 3-4 years ago. There is no way to see that now.

There might be 8 guys on this team that will be Steelers in 3 years. And 0 coaches.

This is not true at all. Rooney is perfectly happy with making the playoffs this way

I wonder if they regret trading Minkah at this point. He wasn't generating turnovers but at least he was providing quality safety play. He's a better safety than Ramsey is a CB at this point.

Every loss is one step closer to getting to see Howard. And the only way that happens is for NHALS to go down sooner than later. We could be out of the playoffs at 7-8 and Fraudlin would pull out all the stops trying to get to 9-8.
