I dont know. This defense is notorious for taking talented DBs and ruining them.

Its no surprise our best DBs are either in their first 2 years from college (porter), or their first 2 years from trades (Minkah). Our coaching makes them worse, not better.

Dude you can say that about every Steeler draft pick and trade to which you allude. All things being equal…Porter is a fucking bust!

Its a false equivalence - its much worse with DBs. We do ok with other positions - theres hit or miss. But DB we are especially terrible at developing.

Our best DB drafted under Tomlin was probably porter. Maybe the only db we’ve ever drafted who played up to his expectation. And here we are 3 years later calling him a bust. Minkah comes in a world beater, 3 years later he’s a shell.

Our most consistent DB under Tomlin may have been Joe Haden. Coincidentally, he spent the most time on another team before coming here.
