Chase suspension & SBI
The prevailing opinion on the ESPN shows this morning is that the NFL went to late on Chase with a one game suspension, Chris Canty appropriately pointing out that the difference between this one and the suspension on the Eagles player which is being used as this season standard is that chases act, resulting in an opposing player in this case, Jalen Ramsey getting tossed out of the game, which arguably could have costc the Steelers the ball game. I know I was way concerned about that at the time. But then shortly thereafter was the pick six.
All that being said certainly from an SBI perspective, it's clearly better that the suspension is only for one game and have chase available for the Thanksgiving night game in Baltimore

My frustration is that this is something that's easily reviewable by the booth. Within about 2 minutes, there was clear evidence all over the internet that Chase spit.swissvale72 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 18, 2025 5:02 pmThe prevailing opinion on the ESPN shows this morning is that the NFL went to late on Chase with a one game suspension, Chris Canty appropriately pointing out that the difference between this one and the suspension on the Eagles player which is being used as this season standard is that chases act, resulting in an opposing player in this case, Jalen Ramsey getting tossed out of the game, which arguably could have costc the Steelers the ball game. Soccer uses review to identify people who deserve red cards in various scrums, no reason the NFL can't do the same.
spitting is foul -- suspensions should be 3 games and huge fines

SBI is whatever it takes to get rid of Tomlin. Losing out and blowing the division lead does that better than another 9-8 with a wildcard ass whooping.

It might win the division if we beat Baltimore. That gets our ass beat at home in the wildcard round by Buffalo, LAC, or KC.swissvale72 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 18, 2025 7:20 pmGot news perch… 9–8 isn't getting a wild card spotSteelperch wrote: ↑Tue Nov 18, 2025 6:41 pmSBI is whatever it takes to get rid of Tomlin. You’re a riot man! I needed that laugh.
9-8 might win the division. Hell 8-9 might win it as well!swissvale72 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 18, 2025 7:20 pmGot news perch… 9–8 isn't getting a wild card spotSteelperch wrote: ↑Tue Nov 18, 2025 6:41 pmSBI is whatever it takes to get rid of Tomlin. I'm obv not a Tomlin promoter, though you seem to think I am sometimes, but in the majority of those playoff losses, Steelers were considerable road underdogs....at New England, at KC, at Buffalo, at Baltimore.
But go ahead and root for the Steelers to lose, Perch, while pretending you're a fan of the team:
