And to put the cherry on this crap sundae..Ratbirds now lead the division after today's games.
Glass houses and all, yeah...but the Rats do not look at all like world beaters.
Agree. World beaters they are not. But they are good enough to win division /which shall happen/.

Looking at the stats Steelers won every aspect of the game, still looked like shit and lost
The play calls on the last two drives were terrible

Particularly throwing 2 yard inside slants, with no time outs.

That’s about 40 seconds wasted right there

yep, we will be playing for NHALS and nothing else in Wk18
Sign Winston or some other journeyman and get the QB a year later.
Winston signed 2 years contract - he´s a Giant next season. I really fear we´ll try to sign Wentz after inevitable Rodgers´ retirement.

I would roll with Howard and Rudolph at that point.

I find it amusing so many got excited by Rudolph after one series of hitting swing passes. Some people love to be Charlie.

Kenny will likely be available this offseason, wouldn't that be funny.

I don't think Mason played particularly well today (his deep throws were way off) but on that final drive, a moronic illegal formation cost Rudolph a huge chance to end up a hero in this game.

I believe his run up the middle had Boz in range and in overtime, anything can happen.

The Steelers use too many personnel groups on offense. Reminds of a girls's 7 year old soccer team.

Everyone must play the same amount.

Mason a back up at best but absolutely no Wr play and they would have defense again with another 30 points game

Steelers come away with a win. Today's Bears aren't the 85 Bears!

And what are today’s Steelers????

Noll and Cowher’s worst teams would still kick our ass.

They at least had heart and were physical.

We are a rudderless ship full of weak minded pussies.
Jibba Jabber’s offense hasn’t scored more than 7 1st quarter points in 88 consecutive games. An NFL record by far. A historic amount of “easin in”. We are lucky to have him.

146 yards. 9 receptions. 1 TD.

The more I see of Metcalf, I wonder what the Steelers thought they were getting.

Again you like being Charlie. You were elated after one shitty drive. Half the posters were thinking “maybe Rodgers was the problem.” Nope. Lucy pulled the football again.

I do agree with too many personnel groups. Washington is the best TE for every situation. Criminal to not have him on the field late in the game.

Warren is better than Gainwell. Criminal for Gainwell to out touch him.

Here's the thing: sometimes a QB can play "meh" for nearly 4 quarters, but when you really need a drive, they can pull one out of their ass.

No, I wasn't elated over that final drive by Mason (who again, did not play very well at all) but without that illegal formation penalty, maybe Rudolph pulls out a win in this one or at the very least, Boz sends the game to overtime.

Rodgers was only the problem after he fucked up his finger and his passes became scattershot. He was nowhere near the target far too many times after he injured that finger, but Mason was a big problem today. His deep balls (normally a strength) were awful. He under threw Roman Wilson to the point Roman had to play DB an d then threw the fucking ball out of bounds TWICE when even a decent throw to Wilson probably ends up a TD.

Mason was bad today, but he actually could have made up for it on that final drive and that run up the middle was a beautiful play. Absolute stupidity negated a play that at the very least, ties that game.

It was the closest they could get to 4 TEs on the field at the same time

One key distinction between Noll, Cowher, and Tomlin

Noll and Cowhers teams weren’t regularly being out coached

And if the first half wasn’t going well, you can be certain significant halftime adjustments would be made to change that

Tomlin’s game plans on both sides of the ball are inept; and he practically refuses to make in game changes.

There were a handful of fundamental errors on both sides of the ball

It’s just mind numbingly stupid

Cowher and Noll not only changed strategies, but you bet there was some paint peeling yelling in the lockerroom. Tomlin is as ferocious as a newborn kitten

Both past coaches hired quality coaches as well as Coordinators unlike Tomlin. Tomlin non ability to change or make changes in game is astounding bad

It's literally unprecedented to be a coach this long in ANY sport and not have anything come off your coaching tree.

That would be like me being a manager for 17 years and none of my subordinates have gone onto bigger/better things. I would rightfully be fired for not developing talent.

That's half the equation. The other half is an unusually high % of hires who were former HCs. Not only does Tomlin not have to "develop" experienced hires, he can shovel more off of his plate onto them.

Need proof?

Jibba’s offense hasn’t score more than 7 first quarter points in like 85 straight games now.

Jibba’s offense has failed to score points each and every time they’ve gotten the ball first to start the 3rd quarter this year.

In every instance we’ve been forced to punt.

I think this guy takes a shit, cleans his aviators, chirps out some useless catch phrases bout execution to the team then heads back out for the 3rd quarter.

Adjustments? We do t need no adjustments. Our plan is sound. We just need to execute.

Fuck this clown.

But don't you know about the son of that one guy he coached with in college that one time, it's close enough!

Well when you leave at 3pm on a Friday to go hang with your son, it doesn't leave much time for your actual job.
It's moonlighting and most organizations frown upon that.

Buffalo scores the TD...WE get flagged for taunting.

There has to be a point where even Rooney gets embarrassed by this, right?
