Your team won by cheating. Congrats.

I have been loath to bet against NHALS, but I'm calling it. Team ends the season 8-9, drops the last Ravens game and the division. Fire Tomlin chants reign down on the home field to end the season.
It aint over till its over, Swiss.

I still think the Steelers can get to 10 wins.
Miami
Cleveland
And Lions or Rats.
I'm sensing a home playoff game.

Secure NHALS early and then go deep into the PLAYOFFS.

This post is going to create quite the response post when the Steelers inevitably get embarrassed again to end the season. For fans with a brain, today was worst case scenario. Rest of the division already has more young talent than us, now they will all have top 10-15 draft picks. We will be stuck picking in the 20’s and shopping for retread QBs in free agency. Maybe next year we can win 9 games again and continue the cycle.

Great win today. It will be so exciting once the Steelers clinch the North and Rooney exercises Tomlin's option!

Swiss, name 5 good young Steelers under the age of 25 we should be excited about them building around for the future and to ultimately win a SB. I’m genuinely curious.

To answer the question of the assembled ass hats on this website, it's very simple. I'm a Steeler fan, have been for 60 years, and I vote for them to win. I refused to approach my fandom from such a negative frame of reference I want the team who I supposedly look forward to lose. for. for years perch, you ruined it for the Steelers to lose get higher draft choices, etc. You describe this thread as Ball washing. As I've stated over and over, I have problems with Tomlin. One of them gone 12 years ago hated to play calling when they got the ball back with two minutes left… But I still wrote for the Steelers to win. You fucking guys think that fire Tom chance Boeing a renegade will move our two off of his spot of supporting Tomlin. Some of you even think that our two of the majority of the owner of the team will be the post. Ain't going to happen meantime I enjoy the games more when my team wins and I'm gonna enjoy going into the playoffs if they're. Excuse voice to text I'm not proofread.Steelperch wrote: ↑Sun Dec 07, 2025 10:24 pmSwiss, name 5 good young Steelers under the age of 25 we should be excited about them building around for the future and to ultimately win a SB. Swiss just needs to be able to celebrate a division championship and that one extra week of football. All the while not realizing that it greatly prolongs the nightmare.
The stupid Dunce that runs the org is 100% satisfied just making the playoffs. Box checked. Get the band back on the road for another tour. Check box again.
So yay. Now the fire Tomlin cools off for a week while these turds go back to thinking their plan actually works.

Jibba Jabber’s offense hasn’t scored more than 7 1st quarter points in 88 consecutive games. An NFL record by far. A historic amount of “easin in”. We are lucky to have him.

We know Swiss is proud to be tribal and most of us know that's not something to be proud of, especially when you have nothing to do with the outcome.

I root for a Steelers win every game, regardless of who the coach is.
Having said that, that TD call on Likely was ridiculous and I hate to win that way. And yes, Jesse James also was a catch.
But on this Likely play, control the ball, two feet down. If that call was against us, we would rightly feel cheated. If the NFL rules think that was not a catch, then NFL rules are wrong. Football move is an abstract concept.

Miami’s playing well, but Tua will melt down with pressure.
Also, Achane’s a helluva back but he ain’t Derrick Henry or James Cook.
I think we can hold Miami under 20 points but I did not like what I saw from our offense in the second half.
…..and we definitely need Outlier back. He’s our only consistently effective TE.

Swiss, maybe it's just phrasing, but you are almost admitting yourself here how futile this all is. You are admitting that you "supposedly" look forward to this shit. You've convinced yourself that you have to try and "believe" but you don't actually. You know how this all ends just as well as the rest of us assholes.swissvale72 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 07, 2025 10:43 pmI refused to approach my fandom from such a negative frame of reference I want the team who I supposedly look forward to lose.Steelperch wrote: ↑Sun Dec 07, 2025 10:24 pmSwiss, name 5 good young Steelers under the age of 25 we should be excited about them building around for the future and to ultimately win a SB. i will never root for the Steelers to lose. i also want Tomlin to move on. what i agree with Swiss on more than anything is that Tomlin isnt getting fired. he just isnt. as much as eberyone fans and seemingly some players know he needs to cuz his philosophy is outdated. the schemes dont work and he has too much control of both sides of ball with tjosebad schemes and philosophy. but winning isnt prolonging it losing isnt quickening it. its just not. Tomlin will leave when he wants unless art 2 steps down and his son Dan wants to start fresh. the Steelers beat the ratbirds today that makes ne happy sorry you all are too smart to enjoy it cuz it was fun as hell when we managed win despite tomlins need to win with defense again almost costing us the win. you can hate tomlin and want him gine and still be happy to beat your biggest rivals for a december lead in the division. ur making urself miserabke thinking tomlin is gonna get fired if u are miserable enuff.

Would I be screaming at the Steelers been screwed out to go ahead touchdown on a bad call? Of course I would!! Lol.
Let's not forget… Steelers I've got screwed out of playoff spots on bad officiating calls...2013 Chiefs versus San Diego

Best case scenario from your perspective is getting their shit pushed in during the Wild Card as they've done for the last decade or so.swissvale72 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 08, 2025 12:02 amI don't actually CK… Please tell us how it's going to endCKSteeler wrote: ↑Sun Dec 07, 2025 11:12 pmSwiss, maybe it's just phrasing, but you are almost admitting yourself here how futile this all is. Aaron Rodgers is a hall of fame qb and made hall of fame plays.
We still should have lost.
If there was such thing as a ‘Mike Tomlin Win’ this would be it.
I feel no joy from this win and that fucking sucks because we just beat the Ravens.

I was with you all game Swiss.
The difference between my love for the Steelers between Cowhers Coaches & Tomlin's coaches teams has nothing too do with me rooting for them to win. I will always watch, root & HOPE for them to win. We can be 0 - 17 & I will be there watching & hoping.
The difference for me between Cowhers Coaches & prior teams & Tomlin hired NON-resumed, NO-name, NO-experience or failure fired coaches teams are my level of confidence.
Back about 8 years & previously thru 1972, we could be down 23 points in the 4th quarter & I'd be telling/screaming to anyone that would listen """ WE GOT THIS """, """NEVER A DOUBT """ etc., etc.
Now with Tomlin's moron coaching staff (just like today) I find myself feeling the game slipping away with NO FAITH whatsoever of stopping it, a comeback or having the ability to comeback.
I have zero confidence now, but I will still be there till the clock strikes zero HOPING for a sign of life & the win.
