Dan Snyder Wants Tomlin as HC
Sure he will...if they promote him to head coach. Apparently he’s been running the whole show anyway....calling plays, hiring and firing coordinators, cutting and trading future HoFers...Kodiak wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2019 8:05 pmBut will Ben agree to it?bradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2019 7:30 pmI don't understand why everyone is asking if Tomlin would agree to this. Why would it matter?![]()

Art2 is the kind of fool that wouldn’t take two #1’s for him.SteelPro wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2019 3:16 pmWhy fire him? This is Just the type of incompetent football organization that can help us dig out of this mess. Snyder is the type of fool that would trade a draft pick for an over-rated head coach that keeps living off a reputation of having a championship on his resume.BethlehemSteel wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2019 3:10 pmha ha ha....let's fire him today.

ESPN's Ed Werder disclosed that he had a conversation recently with "someone who knows [owner] Dan Snyder well and is aware of his thoughts" on who could replace Gruden. The names Werder relayed were Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive coordinator Todd Bowles and Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy.
Ding ding.Art2 is the kind of fool that wouldn’t take two #1’s for him.
Would not surprise me one bit.
And i’d likely be done with this team if Dunce turned down two 1’s all because he thought he couldn’t replace a coach that’s only delivered 3 playoff wins over damn near a decade.
And if Ben had any issues with Tomlin being moved I’d put him on the trading block as well. Or tell him to retire if he chooses.
This team needs an injection of talent and better coaching. Trading Tomlin for a decent haul makes this pathetic season a win...

Um, Gruden was traded for picks and no SB pedigree..... more shit reporting by the king dump of a networkSources tell ESPN's Adam Schefter Mike Tomlin leaving the Steelers to coach the Redskins is not "going to happen."
There have been some rumblings that Tomlin, who is on the hot seat himself in Pittsburgh, could be a candidate to replace Jay Gruden in Washington, though most aren't buying it. "It would have to be a deal that the league never has seen before and would change the way business is done in football and I don't see that happening," said one source, who called the idea of Tomlin defecting to Washington "far-fetched." OL coach Bill Callahan will serve in Gruden's stead until the Redskins find a more permanent solution to their coaching conundrum. A decision on that front probably won't come until the offseason.

Yeah, we won't trade Tomlin......instead we'll wait a few more years to fire him and get nothing.

Doubt any owner would trade for him now. A few years ago sure.
But not now. His warts are far too evident now.
