Divisional round playoff games
Re: Divisional round playoff games
Nacua is ripping off Hines Ward.
"I'm institutionalized, man," he joked. "I gotta have it. I just love the challenges week in and week out that this job provides: the growth in it, the collective growth, the individual growth."
That was some good football. A chess match.
Like rain in F1, it being cold as shit equalizes.

man, if the rumors of CHI offering picks last year for Tomlin were true....
This is horrifying to ponder.
Imagine the Steelers with Ben, AB and Bell with Ben Johnson running the team.
I want to jump off Mt Washington.

Nah
We all have our reasons for loathing Tomlin and Rooney but fantasizing about a trade with the Bears doesn’t make the cut for me
Even if the Bears did offer picks, Tomlin had a no trade clause
If you believe what you read Tomlin said this was going to be his last year
He was never voluntarily going to the Bears or any team even if Art would’ve been remotely interested in entertaining the trade idea.
Was never gonna happen
I’m glad Tomlin is gone
I’m patience on a monument waiting for Art to be gone next

I know some people are ripping Ryan for not benching Stroud and he claims he didn't even consider it. Saw I think Dan compare it to a pitcher in baseball and the two things just aren't the same to me.
QB';s for better or worse are expected to be THE guys in the locker room if your team is really a contender and worth a damn. They are the face of the organization, the single most important piece to winning particularly in the modern NFL, and the leader of your team. You sit a guy in a playoff game who is supposed to be your franchise guy, it's tough to come back form that. Fans also tend to glorify that guy particularly if he's had success. I don't think Stroud is there with Texans fans, but as an organization that's who they want him to be for sure.
It's easy as some fan of another team to say sit him he's shitting up my TV screen, but it's another to do it as a coach.
And maybe that gets you this game. The odds aren't high in my view though Texans have one of the better back-ups in the league I'd say. But then what? You spend the next week debating who is the guy for the title game. And if it isn't Stroud, then you've basically tanked the career at least with your team for the guy who you think or want to be the guy going forward. The one who you think has the potential to be that.

I dig playoff football
I also like seeing lesser known players succeeding that yall talked about here on Fury
Ohhh any ham n egger like me can tell you Darnell Wright was going to be a stud
But what’s a Kyle monangai?
7th round contributor?
What’s that like?
Ice liked him coming out of Rutgers
Puka Nakua?
5th round pick out of BYU via Washington
How many teams ranked on that evaluation?
Not STD

We just had the Bills/Broncos call on the field RIGHT NOW in the Rams/Bears game...and they ruled it a catch!

The NFL just destroyed whatever goodwill it had in Western New York.
That is outrageous, imagine that insult to injury if you are in the Bills Mafia.
Good for Collinsworth calling it out, I am sure the NFL will have a talk with him.

Right, can move quick and then escape. Then can throw with accuracy. Ben could do that in his sleep. Caleb is damn good at it.

Denver going into the AFCC like this is a disaster for the league. The correct call in this game makes it a travesty.

There is a zero percent chance the Steelers D has a stand like that.
Lake has a kid in the league and he didn't end up a Steeler?
Carnell must have shit in Tomlin's Cheerio's or something. He coached for Tomlin for better part of a decade and Tomlin didn't add him on board with his nepotism.
Definitely odd to me.
Coach Tomlin: Guys can we just pretend to play for a couple of downs then you can score.
