So do I. Pretty decent off season, except for that sort of important QB position.

Good thing Howard got zero regular season snaps so we could get a little insight into what we have or don’t have

Attrition football doesn’t afford you “mop up” time.

Fuck you Tomlin

^^^^^this.

So glad that fuck is gone. Loving this offseason more and more. From the Fraudlin being gone to actually finding talent in FA. So stoked to watch the draft. Like watching a mystery movie and trying to solve it. Will this draft be reminiscent of Steelers as of the last few years? Will it have Kahn written all over it? Will it have a different feel and come out with Mike McCarthys stamp of approval? Exciting times. Pray that the new offense uses the middle of the field. Also praying the defense actually schemes to opponents weakness, adjusts well and doesn’t line up across from their opponents for the next 10 years hearing, execute and beat the man in front of you while never adjusting.

Secondary now looks pretty nicely sorted, at least for the coming season.

Two back to back seasons missing games due to concussions…

Another head injury cost Brisker 12 games in 2024.

Only 26 I'm getting the 1year deal now.

Does this mean they are crawling out from under that turble Jalen Ramsey contract?

The only minus is that this years safety class is loaded. Hope they pick one up.

Yes! If they can get Downs, Thienemen, or the Toledo kid at 21, sign me up!

Such a fun safety class

Pined for the Brisker signing but it’s only a 1 year prove you can stay healthy deal

Dashon Elliot has a lengthy injury history

Savage sucks

Who knows where they’ll play Jalen Ramsey

Hell yes they’re still drafting a safety

I’m gonna take an educated guess about Ramsey….

At Safety he did better than boundary corner but not as good as he did in nickel/slot.

Why sign safeties if Ramsey is penciled in for this season?

When healthy Elliott was real good. Brisker is a solid upgrade over all of them if he can stay healthy.

I too hope safety and corner are both on the draft menu next month.

Fantastic signing assuming he stays healthy. Much more like it.

Hometown kid, played in high school at Gateway, out Monroeville, strong kid, good instincts, Penn State product, from Pittsburgh, tough, I like the pick.
"I'm institutionalized, man," he joked. "I gotta have it. I just love the challenges week in and week out that this job provides: the growth in it, the collective growth, the individual growth."

I think the Steelers will still target the safety spot in the 3-4 round they still need to get younger back there.

I think/hope that they move Ramsey around a lot this season. Make him a rover/x-factor type of position.

Keep him around the box where he's a threat to blitz and play the run, but still maintain the ability to drop into coverage, making the D harder to read for QBs.

I don't think he covers well enough to be a full time CB. But he can still hit and tackle and cover well enough to do it enough to keep offenses guessing.
