Best Steelers would have gotten, with 9-8 record, is 17th
Better than 21 year and year out
So you would rather not qualify for the playoffs and draft 17th or 18th, than make the playoffs and draft 21st if losing WC round? I wouldn't
i was rooting for a 0-17 season if it meant tomlin was gone.

I saw this Connor Heyward thread still active and growing to two pages and was frightened he failed his physical and we re-sined him.....
Haha
Removing the dead weight types like Connor Heyward from the bottom of the roster already maes this years team more interesting.

It’s too bad we don’t have a QB because I think we have the makings of a good offensive unit thus far. And still have the draft.

Another year of Rogers is so meh.

Big bro now whining that us Steeler fans didn’t understand Conner’s “role” and how valuable he is to the team.

Then went on to say “now he can be recognized at the top of his position”.

Ummm what position is that exactly?

He isn’t a real TE.

He could have been a good FB but he doesn’t like to lead block in that roll.

Tush push guy?

Split out wide a few times guy?

I’ll be glad when the remaining Heyward is gone too.

I know he's just supporting his brother, but this statement was completely unnecessary.

Cam gets more unlikable by the day. It's a business, and fans are dumb. How entitled do you have to be to call out fans? It's like Cam thinks it's a privilege we get to watch him, rather than a privilege to play in the NFL.

He really is becoming one of my least liked Steelers.

He needs to pull the plug on that podcast. No one wants to hear him babble.

For a man who has accomplished exactly nothing in the postseason, he sure does have an inflated opinion of himself.

Hey Cam? Drafting your dopey brother was a favor to you from your mediocre head coach to keep you publicly sucking his dick. Or are you to stupid not to realize that?

I wish Cam would follow baby brother out.

Giving fans the middle finger seems like part of the culture Tomlin created

All this.

I think Connor could have been/could be a good player if he wasn’t a pussy.

Certainly doesn’t live up to the “Ironhead” legacy.

He is waaaaaay too small to be a tight end. He’s also too much of a pussy to lead block as a FB. If he was a willing blocker as a FB he’d be useful at that position because he does have some decent hands and ability as a receiver coming out of the backfield.

We didn't understand his role as THE Cam Heyward's brother.

It's possible he was good at something.
"I'm institutionalized, man," he joked. "I gotta have it. I just love the challenges week in and week out that this job provides: the growth in it, the collective growth, the individual growth."
