Imagine Rudolph playing against either the Seattle or Green Bay defenses. That would be ugly. The same guys who bashed Ben in those games don’t get that. Rudolph faced ZERO pass rush today. Never really had to play from behind. What happens next week against a decent defense and QB? Slaughter. He blew the best opportunity of his life today. That game showed everyone everything they need to know about his nfl future.

Seattle gives up 21 a game. Detroit gives up 29. Mason got 16. Probably enough to earn that starting gig you’ve been lobbying for all year.

He TORCHED that historically bad Seattle secondary, IN PRIME TIME BABY!!

....then the second half happened.

Then...ouch.

Speaking of ouch, Russell Wilson is struggling a bit.

Russel Wilson had a pretty terrible game today maybe Seahawks will trade us for Rudolph …Pete Carroll said body of work, physical talent and career means nothing … he likes how Mason stepped up today. Thinks when things get tough in the playoffs and winter mason will stand stout against pressure

Mason put up 16 points.

Shoulda been more. Missed an EASY TD pass and his receivers let him down unbelievably, but.....he was WAAAAAAAAAAAAY fucking better than the GREAT Russell Wilson today.

Yeah, he played like he hadn't played in a long time.

Mason feels his pain.

Morale victories when your QB ties the 0-8 Lions. Well, at least he was better than the guy coming back from a broken finger who played against a great defense today.

Russell Wilson missed, what, 3 weeks?

Mason hasn't played a football game since December of 2020, so......

Not sure the Wilson excuses hold a shit ton of water, my man.

Alright guys, this was fun.

Next week we'll see how Mason does against the Chargers while Ben is on the mend.

Saw he wasn't feeling well at all. Hope he's ready 2 weeks from now or....wait for it.....MORE MASON!!

Love you so much. All of you.

LOL

“He did what we expected him to do,” Tomlin told reporters via the team’s YouTube channel. “He gave us a chance to win. But
that’s not the first opportunity for him. This guy’s been at it for awhile. We expected him to play well. And we thought he gave
us a chance to win.”
"We, as an offensive collective were off today, and certainly, he's a component of that,"

Fry Daddy and DJ fumbled that chance away.

Not if we fumble the game away and Kendrick Green keeps doing a Maurkice Pouncey impersonation.

Oh and if Devin Bush keeps Devin Bushing.

Arians is likely ready to Chuck it in on Brady too after today’s game … probably trade us for Rudolph.

Don’t worry about next week …. Tomlin will adjust like he always does. I am sure he propelr6 identified the issue as not possessing the ball enough. Canada will get Mason to ratchet down to about 3.1 ypa and we can ease in vs the LAC offense … bend but don’t break … don’t let up the big play try to not turn the ball over or get any TOs … see if we can get it down to one possession per team per quarter

I think we all need to agree to disagree. I thought Mason played well today, missed a few throws for sure, but played well enough to win without bad snaps, fumbles, and fumbled jet sweeps.

Ben started 1-3, and almost lost to the Bears and Seahawks. This team isn't good, and no matter who is the QB, the next 8 games are going to suck.

But Mason played well enough to win, we lost the game at 1st and goal from the 5 and throw it 3 times.
