Ron Cook is total piece of fucking shit, but I don't think he's completely off-base about AB

If AB did that shit in NE (broadcast BB's post-game speech in locker room live on FB), his ASS WOULD BE GRASS

AB isn't AB without Ben. Ben is the straw that stirs the drink.

AB will suffer if/when he's no longer a Steeler.

The only way AB had anything to do with the Pats loss was if he crafted the defensive gameplan. Was it AB's idea to play zone and rush 3?

Your team just went to the AFCC . You lost, albeit badly, to the most successful franchise of the past 40 years.

Your solution to solve this problem, is to trade one of the best offensive weapons in the league, a guy we drafted and groomed, who has posted 1100+ yard seasons 5 out of the 7 years he has been in the league, one season removed from 136 catches, maybe three seasons away from ONE THOUSAND CAREER catches, because Mike Florio and Ron Cook say he runs routes incorrectly.

You sure you don't want to rethink that position?

AB is the only guy that Ben has a consistent rapport with out there. If Ben has 2 good years left, getting rid of AB now seems counter-productive, regardless of the haul they get.

If Bryant makes it back, I don't see how teams are going to be able to defend AB/ Bryant/Rogers/Bell. Oh, and our O-line is pretty good too.

All we need is a balanced plan on offense.

Bullshit, Nick.

You can be a champion without having an out-of-control ego.

How do I know this?

Because people have done it.

Honestly? I don't know why this bullshit anti-AB PR campaign started, but it's fucking retarded, he's won us many games, lost us none and is a good citizen, never in trouble and now stupid Yinzers are trying to run him out of town for no good reason. You have to be a fucking retard to actually believe he isn't a big reason we got as far as we did, he didn't hurt this team in any way, he was part of why we got to the Final 4, one of our biggest positive contributors.

Starkey/Mueller are discussing this now

The route running topic, incorrect on purpose?

Insubordination/sabotage? They believe Cook was given this info from Steelers (won't surmise who) - but def a rep of the steelers (lineman, QB, or OC)

The topic is Ben Made AB too

They are thinking if betting on it, it's Ben

they don't believe it. If true, changes the whole AB contract situation.

Nothing matters but the next 2 years, anybody who's concerned with the post Ben future is a retard. Only a Stupid Yinzer who thinks it's a team sport and not a QB driven sport would believe otherwise.

To be honest, anybody that wants to lose a weapon like AB during the last couple years of Ben is an idiot, period. WOW! Un-fucking-believable! It's just unacceptable for even a couple members of a fan base to be that fucking retarded.

Are any of you DUMB ENOUGH to believe that next man up pertains to Ben or AB, that you'll plug in the next guy and not miss a beat? WOW

0 for 7 for the Super Bowl? Jesus Fucking Christ they went to the Super Bowl and almost won it in Brown's rookie year and he helped them get there with a David Tyree catch against the Ravens in the playoffs. He is a future Hall of Famer and when Bryant comes back will have another insane year. Steve Smith played like 20 years and has gone to the Super Bowl the same amount as Brown. Ask Viking fans if they wished Chris Carter had helped Minnesota to get to Super Bowl when he was playing. Ask 28 other teams if they would have taken a silly Facebook inicident if there team could have been where the Steelers got to this year. Ask a Lion, Bengal, Browns fan if they would take their team missing the playoffs on the last day of the season, next year make the Wild Card but lose, next year win Wild Card and then lose Divisional, next year win Wild Card and Divisional and lose Conference game. Isn't that trending to the next step BEING THE FUCKING SUPER BOWL? But yea, lets trade Brown because of high school shit.

Keeping Ben from getting clobbered and Bell from getting his wheels run off should be the total focus. With Munch's OL, Ben and the three skill queers AB Bell Marty: putting up 30 or more should be baked into the cake. Neither Tomlin nor Haley can possibly fuck that up if they keep from damaging Ben or Bell with stupid usage of said players.

Bell needs to be on a pitch count. In blowouts, go to the bullpen and pull all four of them.

Sounds like the best option is to

Keep AB around one more year. If this story comes down to being somewhat true. They best handle it in house right now.

Ben/AB/Bell, new TE

2 more Linebackers

Lets go get it while the window is open. the league is winnable with our talent.

Maybe if Coates could catch the football, the Pats would have had to respect someone other than AB. But Coates blew that chance in the drive of the game.

And the easiest way to defend against Bell is to have him miss the entire game with an injury.

Our offense was pretty neutered.

That's the whole point, the best guys make sure the only place they're not modest is inside their own heads.

You can have confidence and not be a douchenozzle.

You can have championship ability without having an ego that runs amok.

It's called being a grown-up.

But AB hasn't lost any games, only won them, the whole "controversy" surrounded him is manufactured by the media. Go ask his teammates if they want him gone, or if he's hurting the team, I'd be willing to bet he has their full support.

Does AB also have the "veteran leadership" presence we need in the locker room?

I'd say yes based on his FB Live work alone.

See, this is what it has boiled down to. This is high school shit?

Disobeying league wide rules. On multiple occasions.

Disrespecting team mates and causing penalties so you can jerk your dick off on national TV.

Disrespecting your head coach, and team for that matter, so you can make six figures on facebook. Break all norms of teammatehood.

Complains about not getting the ball. Me first, team second.

And now running wrong routes on purpose, because maybe he thought he'd get open?

I dunno. In my time that shit would get you fired. Even in high school. But today? You can be a TV celebrity game show host and be president.

Try behaving like AB and use alt facts in your everyday job. See where that gets you.

Edit : And that's not politics. Those are some non partisan facts.
Arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon. No matter how good you are, the pigeon is going to shit on the board and strut around like it won anyway.

I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT ANTONIO BROWN!

I'm talking about your bullshit assertion that a winner also has to have an outsized ego.

We could absolutely rape a team for Brown though.

Seriously, imagine what we would get in return. That and if Ben leaves, so will Bell, Brown, Pouncey, etc.
