Why should I care? You randomly jump on me for shit unprovoked.

I didn’t personally attack you.

And hate to break it to you but as long as that dumb wordsmiffin fool is standing on our sidelines with that dumb empty stare I’ll continue to talk smack bout him.

So stock up on the Tampax if it is bothers you so much

Although I did say if they are so dumb as to resign Bush that I will stop watching this team. Can’t take that kind of dumb any longer.

So there’s that. You can hope they resign him.

I think I’ll change my sig for you….

Devin Bush looks like Jack Ham in coverage- Pabst

So your ridiculous comment can hang around for a while.

And if you don’t want to argue, maybe not start one next time.

You weren’t provoked.

But as usual you are being a pussy.

That's not what i said. Here, I'll help you:
Mark Robinson makes Devin Bush look like freaking Jack Hamm in coverage.

Btw, i thought you didn't care?

I know what you said. It was still wrong.

Being waaaay better than a guy who’s literally never played the position doesn’t equate to looking like Jack Ham.

The two aren’t the same.

Hey, I’m a waaaaaay better golfer than some guy just learning.

Doesn’t make me look like Jack Nicklaus or Tiger Woods. I’m just way better than a guy who doesn’t know what he’s doing.

Did you get that tampon changed and some Midol in you Pabst?

Can we be done now? I didn’t realize commenting (accurately) on Devin Bush was going to get your panties all twisted up.

I don’t care what your opinion of me is. Why would I? You are a screen name on a football message board.

If you want to come out of nowhere and start slinging mud I’m happy to sling some back your way.

So if you are done we can be done. If you want to keep going we can do that too.

The fact that a backhanded compliment to Devin Bush has you this worked up is absolutely hilarious

Are you really this dense???

I wasn’t worked up over that. I simply said your Ham comparison was ridiculous because it is. I didn’t attack you or hurl any personal vitriol your way.

I know you were being facetious to an extent with that Ham comment. But it was still false. Bush isn’t good in coverage. Being better than a guy who’s never done it doesn’t make him good. And especially not to the level of HOFer and Steeler great Jack Ham. That comment is an insult to the player.

This didn’t go south till you followed up telling me what I can comment on and what I can’t.

So I stepped it up a notch.

Then you took it to another level with uncalled for personal insults to which I responded.

You up to speed now what happened here?

Cool thing would have been to apologize to the one you actually launched the unprovoked personal attack against but whatever.

You've spent most of this thread complaining and backtracking and now you want an apology?

No. You'll live, snowflake

What have I backtracked on?

And I certainly will live. You’d likely dislike me even more if you actually knew how well.

I chimed in about the apology to see what kind of character you have.

That’s been revealed. Or I should say, reinforced what I already thought.

Was looking to be pleasantly surprised.

And the only snowflake here is you buttercup.

Oh noes, 95 said something bad about Devin Bush in a thread about our MLB position.

That’s you sugar.

I hug my father and my son. Don’t hug strange men. Especially menstrual ones. So no thanks.

Enjoy your dinner. Maybe you can tell your husband or wife that some guy said something bad about Devin Bush in a thread about middle linebackers and how it really upset you.

I’m sure they will give you some comfort.

My intent is not to mix in to but use Jack Ham's name in relation to Devin Bush is so ridiculous no matter the comparison. No one thinks Robinson is the second coming of anyone but he tries hard out there & is hopefully getting better at his position for year 2 starting from basically zero. Unlike one who acts like he's doing something on the football field but in fact rarely does anything of substance.

Players are allowed to develop and grow from year to year. And Jerry O, sure he had to deal with the death of his wife, but even before that, how can anybody deny that the ILBs were in limbo, not seeming to develop in any phase of the game.

Aaron Curry in as the new ILB coach and I am going to be optimistic that things might improve, that the ILBs might improve and develop. Curry was at Charlotte and coached the defensive line. One of his pupils was Larry Ogunjobi, who became a 3rd round pick, he coached Alex Highsmith, who became a 3rd round pick. He spent the past three years with Seattle coaching in various levels of the defense, the defensive line, the linebackers, etc.

I view the hiring of Aaron Curry as something of a trend with the Steelers on defense. They signed an up and coming Grady Brown for the secondary two years ago, they hired Brian Flores last year, this year they hire Curry. All three of those hirings sought coaches that were not devout disciples, were not incestuous hires, no, they all had different experiences, in different types of defenses. I would even go further back and include Karl Dunbar in this new wave of coaches that we have been hiring, that are bringing in fresh ideas and new approaches to our defense. What Mitchell instructed his defense linemen to do in the 90s-00s is far different from what Dunbar coaches his D-linemen to do today.

So, all you can do is give Curry some prospects to coach up. Mark Robinson has that alpha dog mentality, that Kendrell Bell violence to his game. He is no slouch as an athlete either, 34 reps, freakishly strong, but still ran a 4.65 40. Holcomb runs a 4.5 at 240 pounds and Myles Jack was a great specimen when he came in the NFL and yes, his body may be breaking down but we need him to just hang on for a year or two, I happen to think they may extend him for another year. I feel like the Steelers are okay with keeping Jack around in a Joe Haden sort of way. That crafty vet who can still give you respectable play as a starter while you develop younger players.

I personally feel that the Steelers may come to the conclusion that the CB class is so deep that you instead shift gears and select the best ILB in the draft at 17. To me Nolan Smith is the top ILB prospect. These small edge rushers like Smith and even somebody like Nick Herbig, they are ILBs, they are off ball linebackers that will flourish with the position switch.

If you had Nolan Smith, Myles Jack, Cole Holcomb and Mark Robinson, then where is the worry?

Or, if you wait until round 2 (49) take Herbig and pair him with Jack, Holcomb and Robinson what is not to get excited about?

Good points.

Now if only Jibbs took the same approach with the offense and actually brought in some help for Canada.

My apologies in advance to Pussy errrr Pabst for saying something negative (again) about Jibbs. I know it bothers him so.

However, it is actually germane to the conversation.

As it is every time he’s mentioned on ummm a Steelers message board. What a shocker the underperforming HC gets a lot of coverage & vitriol
